I just moved to the area and was looking for a new place for dental care. Total Dental Fitness was professional and thorough with my care. My hygienist gave me some information about my home teeth care, where I could improve, and why it was important. Having that information gave me extra motivation to start flossing every day! Dr. Maylath took the time evaluate me for a bite guard and explained the different options, and gave me a great recommendation of which one to choose. Also, they offer occasional Saturday appointments, so I dont have to take time off work, which is really helpful for my busy schedule.

My son loves going to the dentist anyway but he has received great orthodontic care from Dr. Maylath and continues to enjoy going to the dentist. We get reminders of when we should be going to see Dr. Maylath either for retainer check-ups or cleaning and Clare who manages the reception ALWAYS finds us a convenient appointment time. I have always hated going to the dentist but Dr. Maylath has made it bearable! Again appointment times are always convenient and Clare manages ALL of the paperwork. All in all a great and friendly service and one I have recommnded to many new people coming to the Birmingham area.

After I moved to Michigan, I needed a new dentist for my routine cleaning. I followed my roommate to Dr. Maylath. My hygienist explained the health of my teeth and gums more thoroughly than Ive ever received before. It was empowering to actually be walked through the dental x-rays--rather than just have them pointed at without a detailed explanation. I also appreciated that Dr. Maylath did not try to upsell me on additional products/services. Fully felt that they were available if I wanted them, but they were not going to be pushed on me.

Dr Glen Maylath and the staff at Total Dental Fitness are great. The office is state of the art and everyone is very friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Maylath is gentle and takes a lot of time explaining treatment options and answering questions. He can do crowns in one visit which is so convenient. He is also awesome with kids. Ive recommended him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Maylath and ALL his staff are the best. I had three fillings replaced via laser yesterday. Absolute pain free dentistry. No numbing agent needed. Not pushy like other dentists and encourages you to proceed at YOUR own pace. I am very picky when it comes to a dentist, but you must try the best.

Dr Maylath has been our family dentist for more than 15 years. The staff is exceptional and he is always very very nice. The equipment is state of the art and we always receive the best service.
