Worst experience of my life. I came in for medical care via EMS due to heart palputations. They let me sit alone in a room for several hours before I saw a doctor or nurse. THey refused to give me an IV (despite obvious dehydration) I had to insist. They preformed blood tests, and I was relieved at first but then they took out an excessive amount of blood- about five viles- and gave me no more than extremely vague information about what they were testing for. Ive never heard from them. A couple hours in, they hooked me up to a faulty Herat monitor that didnt read a pulse. I finally discharged myself, and without a ride home, walked in the rain. It was unprofessional, cold, UNCLINICL, dirty and very very confusing. I would warn ANYONE away from this place and would suggest that a longer EMS ride would be worth avoiding Huron Valley. Do no harm but I left without being treated, feeling much worse.

I gave one star just to be able to write a review! On 6/19/17 around 1:30-2PM I called the hospital to make an appointment for a mammogram! the lady( even tho she doesnt deserve to be called lady) who answered the phone was the most rude person I have ever came across to in my life, she was yelling at me in the phone for telling her it was an annual mammogram test instead of saying diagnostic due to my young age! She yelled at me saying "YOU NEED TO READ WHATs ON THE SCRIPT OR CALL YOUR DR TO CONFIRM..." and she hang up the phone! If it wasnt for the fact that my insurance only works there and close to where I live... I would never ever again in my life go there. You need to work on your staffs altitude and how they treat patients, since the people they are contacting are patients who already have a lot to deal with in their life...period

30 minutes before my son was registered. 50 minutes before he was called back. 15 minutes more before he was seen by a doctor. IV for dehydration and anti-nausea prescribed, 30 minutes later, blood taken, no fluids or anti-nausea. 60 minutes after doctor prescribed, anti-nausea, morphine, anti-diarrhea given, 60 minutes after that fluids finally given. 5 and a half hours later we were finally able to leave. If they were crazy busy, maybe, they were NOT crazy busy (although the curt nurse I spoke to thought they were). Think twice before taking a loved one with life-threatening injuries. @owner, Im not posting my contact info on this site. Im in the book. P.S. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic in Macomb County and knows what a busy E.R. looks like and he said, your E.R. was not a busy E.R when we were there.

I had to post after reading other reviews. I was sent to emergency by my PCP, admitted to ICU and then spent time in Acute Care. I spent a total of two weeks at HVSH with additional visits to Charach. I received excellent care. I had great doctors (and residents) who were personable and answered all my questions. My nurses were absolutely phenomenal! The PIC line nurses had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes! From housekeeping to food service to transport to students in training and their teachers, I received attention that made me feel safe and very well cared for. In a very scary time, they talked me through it, comforted me, saw to any need I had and gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend HVSH.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. Waited over 2 hours for literally nothing. They did nothing they were supposed to do for me the past 3 visits I have been there . Also gave me a wrong diagnosis a few visits before the one today. I recommend you do not go to this hospital stay Johns hospital is amazing and wonderful people. And hardly a wait! Huron valley is the worst hospital I have ever visited waited over two hours for a nurse and doctor to be available at the same time but I leave the room to tell them im leaving and not going to wait any longer and two doctors are standing there chit chatting not doing their job. Worst service Ive ever had at a hospital for the past 3 visits.

I went in for chest pains and was stunned by how poorly I was treated. The chest pain ended up being muscle spasms, but we didnt know that for a while. When I 1st got there, they hooked me up to an EKG, then left me alone for over a half hour. Never saying one word to me, not even when they came in to hook me up....complete silence, zero eye contact. What if it was a heart attack? When I finally got someone to check on me, the nurse kept rolling her eyes at me. The doctor would not listen to me, she kept putting words in my mouth. The staff that was there when I was discharged was pretty good, but my experience before them ruined it.

I just had a total hip replacement and was very apprehensive, after reading theses poor reviews. I have to say my experience couldnt have been more different. Maybe it was luck that I was on the orthopedic floor. My nurses couldnt have been more attentive and caring. I have to give special thanks to Crina, Jill and Kelli. Should I go in for another procedure, I wouldnt hesitate to use Huron Valley again. I didnt give them 5 stars because I thought the food was terrible. Then again, great care is more important than great food!

Very rude Dr. and staff! I work in veterinary medicine and we treat animals and clients better than they treat people! I asked about faxing a prescription to the pharmacy and I would have been fine with a "Sorry we dont do that" rather than a "youre just here for antibiotics and a real emergency could come in so we dont have time for that" as the RN s and receptionist sat at the desk on their cell phones! Very unprofessional.

Went to the emergency room for abdominal pain they did an xray and told me i was constipated. Told me to take mirlax and sent me on my way. Next day i was still in alot of pain went to mclaren emergency center in clarkston and they did a ctscan and diagnosed me with appendicitis. Had to have emergency surgery at mclaren in pontiac. Thank God i got a second opinion. I will NOT be returning to huron valley hospital.

Amazing birthing center! The nurses were so caring and compassionate. Special thanks to nurse Andrea, she was there when I delivered, and shes definitely a pro! The doctors are great as well.They all made me feel so comfortable while delivering my first child. The rooms are also nice clean, and private. The food was good too! I will definitely be back when its time for my 2nd baby.

I recently had outpatient surgery at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai hospital, and couldnt be happier with the entire staff. The nurses were caring and well prepared, everyone was thoughtful and attentive (for both me and my wife while she was waiting) and everyone there did their absolute best to help keep me comfortable and informed.

We have gone to DMC Huron Valley for two medical emergencies this summer. We were seen within 20 minutes both times. My husband was diagnosed and given medicine to help with each incident, and his symptoms were gone in a couple of days. The facility was clean, the staff was well trained and very helpful.
