Horrible by far worst Ive ever been treated. I came in for my right side being numb and my right arm randomly for going numb for the past month . I had a panic attack while in the waiting room and while haveing the panic attack again not the reason I was here they worried more about that then the orignal reason . then once i finnaly got back into the er my wife not even working here is the one that had to lift me into the bed. At this point geting worse and uncomfortable my wife had to use her jacket to prop my head up . I got offered no sense of comfert and even telling them I am dehydrated they did nothing and told me that they drew blood to see if I was dehydrated. I had a nurse that was just filling in came in to ask how I was and was the only one that had even offered me anything Im still siting in the er room arm still randomly falling asleep wanting to leave and drive myself to a diffrent hospital just to get checked out ... And have still yet been asked about my arm again the hole reason I was here.... So as I sit in the er room struggling to tyep all this out with my left hand the doctor finnaly walks in and now asked about my arm. And the only response I got from her was well Im glad youre going to get a follow up.... Are you freaking kidding me its sad when I wana walk out of the er only to drive to another er to get looked at because cmh only seems to care about geting paychecks and collecting insurance from people . its sad and pathetic and I am still waiting on them to release me at 5:11. So at this rate ill be in the next er room getting looked at sometime around midnight im sure.

I have never been so humiliated in my whole life. I have been sick for about ten weeks now but my condition keeps getting worse I actually went to bed last think I wont wake up in keep getting up wanting to go to er but would second guess until 5 this morning I woke crying like a baby and my daughter said I should go that maybe now that the symptoms are more severe they might be able to tell what it is. I really truly wish I would just die than Ive another day like this in front of my children. I know its sad but with the exception of the last visit I had refused any pain medication just so I could insure him I was not just there to get medicine and Ive never in 14 years had a narcotic prescription. I walk in talk to nurse go into the room and wait for doctor when he comes in he did not examine me and barely even looked at me and says "well Mr south so we did mri of your head and abdomen and a few x-rays and labs and they didnt show us anything so I really dont think it will show anything different the second time around but you are here already so we can redo them"...... seriously I mean come on what the hell was his problem what about lets look some where else Mr south most people arent sick for ten weeks. I really think Im dying and no one is listening if someone reads this that can offer me any advise please help me as I was going to go to another er but Im worried about getting same reaction

I wish I could write an awesome review about the hospital in my own hometown, but I cant. I spent over a year dealing with the network of CMH doctors both at the hospital and at different physician offices. I was really sick during this time and the only thing all of the doctors told me they were going to do was order an x-ray, draw blood or give me pain meds. I thought I was going crazy but knew something was not right with my body. I finally gave up hope on the CMH network of doctors and drove to a completely different network of doctors 40 minutes from Wilmington. Within a week they found out what I was dealing with and the staff was willing to work with me on a personal level. I will continue to drive 40 minutes to and from doctors appointments because the care is so much better. It pains me to write a negative review because I have friends who work or have worked here. They are not properly staffed and the excellent staff they do have are overworked and frustrated. Its worth the drive to get the care you need somewhere else.

The worst hospital ever 5 years ago thought I was having a miscarriage sat for 3 hours in waiting room. Then my son broke out with bumps said that it was hand foot and mouth no it was chicken pox after all the cream made him used that burned his skin .Then 2015 had my 2nd child and they fixed me so they said was supposed to be done..... no Im 6 months pregnant again went in yesterday because I had scabies and i have a staff infection or something in my arm pit . the nurse was reading my history when taking my blood pressure and laughed because the hospital messed up when they fixed me asking hows that working for you. they had 1 person Infront of me I sat for almost 1 1/2 got mad and i left I will die before I go back there

My wife was in need of medical attention and wanted to go to the nearest ER, against my judgement of her request to CMH it was the closest. Going on the 2nd hour of waiting and something needed to happen we decided to drive to another ER, upon leaving her name was called to come back. She requested a drink of water after arriving to a room, no water, another RN came in and said shift change and we requested a drink of water again. More time passed with no water, RN or Doctor and realized she was abandoned, we both agreed to leave. The hospital operation lived up to its reputation as poor and got to see the show from the front row, will drive the extra 30 minutes next time to Bethesda

This is the WORST Hospital I have ever been to. I had tests done and my doctors NEVER got the results. Not once, but twice. They are expensive and their billing is a nightmare. My insurance company wont pay because test were done,but nobody got the results. I had x-rays done, the tech kept getting it wrong. He must have taken 10 x-rays to get one he was happy with. And yest, my doctor never got these results either. Stay away unless you are bleeding profusely. Then get transferred somewhere else ASAP.

The ER is horrible. I went in for problems i had after a miscarriage. The Dr. Told me I wasnt pregnant and that I had a bladder infection. Sent me home in pain. Took me 5 years after that to get pregnant again. The mother baby unit was ok. The nurses where nice, but my son came out not breathing due to cord around his neck. The nurse that gave him cpr, did it too hard or for too long (how the Dr. Told me) and sent my baby to the NICU for a week. I will/would not use this hospital if I can help it!!
