When I first tried Dr. Blakey about 10-12 years ago, I was at a dead end with my eyes. I loved playing sports and therefor hated glasses and wanted contact lenses. But whenever I wore contacts, I felt like I had debris in my eyes and they were beyond uncomfortable. My previous eye doctor simply couldnt fit me in a pair of lenses that felt good. So I tried another doctor, then another...all with similar results. Beyond frustrated and feeling hopeless because I couldnt do the things I wanted to do (be active and play sports), and feeling that maybe I had gotten some bad advice with the eye doctors I had tried out, I decided to give one last doctor a shot before I gave up on my dreams of life without glasses, a one Dr. Blakey. Wow, how my life changed after that first visit! Dr. Blakey found that the contacts I had been being prescribed were fitted incorrectly and needed to be thinner (I was always given contacts that I had to clean and take care of over months-long time)...so she gave me a pair of correctly-fitted disposable daily-wear contacts and my life changed forever! They felt great and I was playing my favorite sports in them ever since. I truly give Dr. Blakey credit for saving my happiness in life. I will be a lifelong customer of hers, of that I have no doubt. She is so kind and treats you like youre the most important customer she has. 5 stars isnt nearly enough for Dr. Blakey and the staff at Sharper Vision! (Yes, even the staff treats you tremendously...your satisfaction is very important to them it seems). Thank you Dr. Blakey for all you have done for me!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Blakeys for years. She helped me overcome some fairly serious problems with my vision without a moment of doubt. Dr.Blakey has gone out of her way to make my visits comfortable yet thorough. She has a great deal of patience and always, always has my eye health placed first in her approach . For reasons of personality and skills, I wouldnt hesitate in the least to recommend Dr. Blakey to anyone!

We dropped in for emergency contacts and Dr. Blakely was kind enough to see us despite our not being patients of hers. It is a personable practice, she sees fewer patients and doesnt do many drop ins. The staff is quite nice and the office is very beautiful. She was able to help us out.

All the other reviews are absolutely spot on. Dr. Blakely is incredible; shes super patient and understanding, and didnt hesitate to go above and beyond for me, even though I was a first time customer who sort of dropped in last minute. I absolutely recommend this place.
