The people at the check-in were very nice and so were the doctors that saw me. However the person that helped me with frames was very rude to me. Ive been wearing glasses since I was in 4th grade and my prescription hasnt changed much in years so I know what kind of glasses I wear and the extra options Ive always had on them. When I tried to refuse some of the extras she stood there and argued with me. Then when I told her how I broke my last pair of glasses she claimed that she worked in a similar field and never had a problem so she doesnt know how they broke. I was super astonished by the lack of customer service. When she finally agreed to take off the extra chargers That I asked to be removed she started to argue again then put her hand and up and was just like whatever. I came here because they had the specific brand of frames I want and are the closest place to me that sells them. I really wish I just paid for the eye exam and took my prescription to go the farther place. Especially after going on the designers website and seeing that I could buy the frames of his website for $200 less than what they were charging here for them! Shop around for frames before coming here! They seem to be a lot more expensive. Edit: They called and left a voicemail about the review! I appreciate the fact that they care enough to read through the reviews and contact you regarding your problems. It was a nice gesture!

Ive been coming here for years and it only has gotten worse. I ran out of contacts and broke my glasses. So I ordered new glasses, to which they made me sign a waiver saying I wouldnt return them because I was one-week past my 1 year check up; fair. I get my new glasses two days later, they are somehow the wrong prescription (way to strong). Find out from the appointment that same day that my eyesight has not changed since I was twelve. Wouldnt let me return the glasses, even though they gave me the wrong prescription and admitted to it. They are not clear about appointments or costs of anything. When I asked a manager why I was charged $50 extra dollars for my appointment, she stated that it was the full cost of the appointment and refused to let me speak my concerns. Constantly changing how and when someone can order contacts. The "doctors" (they are actually students) demand you get your eyes dilated during exams, even though there is research showing that eye dilation often causes misdiagnosis of how near-sighted people actually are. Half of the staff is really nice, the other half acts like they work at Walmart and were just denied a promotion. Glasses sales staff are aggressive.

They kept giving me the ring around about a my abrasion!!! I had my eye reopen in months ago and I set an appointment for the doctor to see me. When they first opened they didnt have me in the system I waited months for this apt. I waited then they figured out why I wasnt in there system then after hour of waiting I was about to leave and they called asking where I was. I was angry bc I had other appointments that day didnt have time to stay but my vision is important so I said as long doesnt take long. I seen he doctor Mr. Everett he told me he couldnt help me bc he couldnt see my abrasion of corse he couldnt bc it was later in time and then I got worried bc I am about to get cut off my insurance in few month would like to get it taken care. He told me I had to come back when it tore open again and CHARGED ME for not doing anything but wasting my time and money! Today I went again bc it tore open again and put a patch in my eye two days ago and charged just to do the same old routine I took it out myself they still charged me they dont care about their patients they only care about money Im disgusted!!!! Wont be going back and deff recommend others to be warned!

The eye exam was fine, Dr. Wong was so nice and friendly. The nurse that did the initial exam was fun to talk to also. When it got time for me to choose my frame and lens, I was shocked at the lack of professionalism! The guy that helped me was not pleasant, it seemed as if he didnt want to work. As we sat down to go over the lens and costs, he told me it would be $400, mind you I choose frames covered by my insurance. I am a college student, I cant afford to pay that much for glasses I barely use. When I told him I wear contacts he abruptly told me I didnt get a contact exam, and told me I am going to wear glasses. I do NOT like being told whether or not to wear my contacts or glasses. After I told him I do not want the special lens, he kept insisting I get anti-glare, and all the other special things. Ridiculous. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I will not ever recommend.

Loved the help we received from Janis. No problem there. The problem is they TELL you your glasses will be ready one day and theyre not. Im so sick and tired of spending THOUSANDS of dollars on insurance and both my money and time are wasted. Hey OptimEyes, I know it doesnt take that long to make a pair of stinkin glasses. My son needs his glasses in order to...I dont know....SEE? I guess maybe youre waiting to see the big money insurance is spending on these stupid plastic things before you give my son what he needs to actually function. Thanks for nothing. One pair of glasses shouldnt cost so much to me OR insurance. One pair. Jesus, the greed....and from where does the plastic come? China? Probably had to wait for some poor 6 year old Chinese kid to make the frames at 3 cents a week. Is that the holdup? Are the frames still in China?

Terrible service and treatment. I would give a 0 star if I could. Was told to take a step back out of respect for her customer, so i did for privacy reasons, etc. Then she skips me for the guy behind me..? OK. after all that time wasted, I finally get to meet my doctor. But he would only talk about how my eyes are getting worse., but I only wanted to know why my eyes were hurting not for a pair of glasses, I already know my eyes are bad. 2 hours wasted and a waste of 30 dollars. Was recommended to come here to get my eyes checked and possibly find out why my eyes are hurting, instead Im getting upelling for a pair of glasses.

I went here twice with an appointment ...had to wait over 1 hour because lady at the counter forgot to prepare my folder for the doc! They did take care of me by susidizing their high eye exam fees. Second time it was over 30 mins wait! Whats the point for taking an appointment if the doc is not going to look at you in a resonable time?? Even after the doc gave me my prescription she increased thr power by 0.5 and after double checking the prescription at another eyecare place they said it is overcorrection and need to bump the power down to my previous prescription.
