So, I never write negative reviews, but after visiting this place for the second time, just have to put this out there and hope it will help someone. I made an appointment with Dr. Linwood Black and told them I was in need of a referral to get physical therapy for my wrist. I already knew what was wrong with me and did a lot of research and realized that therapy can help me heal faster. I went to the Wellness center for the second time, waited there for 3 hours (3 hours after my appointment time!) then the doctor finally came in and tried to diagnose me what I already knew and didnt even say a word about a referral. I was so frustrated and couldnt believe they just ignored the whole reason that I went to see a doctor, which was to get a referral so that I can get physical therapy. Anyway, when I walked out, I called my husband and told him that this was the last time I went to this place. They didnt help me when I visited this clinic for the first time ( it was actually for a different reason , eventually I ended up getting help at a different clinic in Dearborn) and this second time was even worse. They just tell you to come back in one month, thats it. No help, no advice, they will prescribe some painkillers, thats it. Like I said, I have never ever in my life written a negative review, so this review should tell you something.

I went to this office for my first time for a wellness check up with Melanie Johnson, FNP. After filling out my paperwork, my vitals were taken and I was shown to an examination room. While waiting in the examination room, I noticed the filthiness of the floors, the walls had been patched but not painted, the countertop was laminate but broken (creating an unsanitary porous surface), there was neither hand sanitizer nor hand soap by the sink, and there was a broken floorlamp for decor. Since it was an hour past my appointment time, I decided to not risk being in that room any longer and leave without even seeing Melanie Johnson, FNP. Had service been more prompt, I may not have noticed the filth and disrepair. However, this experience was truly disgusting, a waste of my time, and Im glad I left when I did; the receptionist said I was going to be next. While this medical center wasnt a good fit for me, it seemed to be a favorite among upset infants and toddlers.

I shouldve took heed of the reviews before going into this place. Yes it is true THESE PPL EACH AND EVERY EMPLOYEE IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. IN THE LAB THE LAB TECH CALLED MY FIANCE UP AND SAID HIS NAME WRONG. HE CORRECTED HER, SHE GONE SAY WELL YOU JUST LOOKING AT ME AND DIDNT SAY NOTHING, THEN TOLD HIM SHE WOULD THROW HIS INFORMATION IN THE TRASH NEXT TIME HE PLACE IT IN THE WRONG PLACE. HE SAID LADY ITS A WAY YOU TALK TO PEOPLE AND YOURE BEING RUDE.SMH. WE COME ALL THE WAY FROM SOUTHGATE. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO BACK TO THAT UNPROFESSIONAL BUILDING. NOT TO BE FUNNY THATS EXACTLY WHY WE DONT LIKE SUPPORTING BLACK BUSINESSES BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE THEM! Oh and lets not forget the receptionist that rolled her eyes and grimmed a patient that was in front of us.

Unprofessional and disorganized! The waiting time is over 3 hours! The lose your lab work, dont update your medical records and profile e.t.c... just a mess! Avoid this awful place!

Everytime i call it always say the representatives are busy and have me waiting for more than 30 minutes. I been calling for 2 weeks trying ro schedule an appointment. Terrible
