I have nothing top compare it to , but my Ma was here at the hastened behest of Specialty Care. She should have stayed at Specialty . Its my opinion that this is a network fashioned to fill the pockets of various entities. Let everyone into the purse. It was not horrible, nor was it exceptional. She had good care for the most part, unless she needed help from the staff to get to the restroom. It seems the staff has their individual schedule, and they stick to it. There were however, some of the most caring , sweetest , accommodating staff. Beverly and Patricia are some that stand out to my Ma, although there are many others that were awesome. The Therapy staff all are awesome. The speech therapist lady, Adria, and some other managerial types were great, too. The front office people are marvelous and very helpful. All in all ,this is a pretty good place, but my Ma agrees the food is horrendous. Be involved. That is the key. Housekeeping rocks.

I have never dealt with ppl who has there head shoved so far up there ass my sister had a brain aneurysm n a stroke n come 2 days before she comes home they still dont know how to order her bed wheel chiar any of it her feeding tube that she never used is still in only been asking for 2wks to get rid of that n now I can take her to get it removed cuz there lazy to do there job this place is a joke never ever would I take anyone I cared for to this place let alone someone I dont like.............. The only reason I gave even 1 star is cuz are cnea was the most amazing caring person she almost made up for everything thanks Shonda you made r stay much easier

administration sucked. My mom was sent home on a days notice without PT, OT or home care set up. They are suppose to do a home inspection before sending a patient home. They blame the insurance company but if there cap together its should of been done. She been home a week now and still no home inspection has been done. She lives alone too. I can say some of the nurses were good who took care of my mom but mostly wasnt happy with the place.

I was in Briarwood in April. The whole staff was wonderful... the nurses, aids and housekeeping were amazing and l cant say enough about the care they gave me. The food was the worst of the worst l could ever imagine! A friend of mine was there a couple months later.... the first thing she said to our other friend was... the food is terrible.

My dad is currently at Heartland and they are doing a good job with him and his rehab for a hip replacement. Like all nursing homes you have to be on your toes and ask questions and get answers but on part the staff is very caring about the patient and very good with them.

I have family here and they are the most caring people in Genesse County. My uncle was never just left alone/unattendad.....I have been knowing the staff for over 20 years and they are very trust worthy....no funny business...I also love the front desk lady named Pam..

My uncle was there last week and already got hurt 3 times, this is the worst place to send and relative. Please dont send anyone there.
