I just returned from getting my Yellow Fever and Typhoid vaccine from Midwest Travelers. Originally, I was dismayed to find out that these exotics (not covered by my insurance) werent stocked at the county clinic where they would be cheaper. With that said, I was given a 45 minute, thorough consultation on every issue I may face on my trip to Peru in plain, conversational English with Pam, the physician I met with, and have MUCH greater peace of mind. I was thoroughly impressed with her engagement and interest in my trip, and how completely tailored the consultation was. You read a lot about your trip online and through the CDC, but having a conversation with a walking encyclopedia of travel illness is indispensable, and I cant recommend them enough!
