My first contact with the office was when they insisted on the information off my credit card so they could charge my card if I was late or missed an appointment. I do not miss any doctors appointments and had never been asked for this information before. As a new patient I was told to arrive 20 minutes early to make out paperwork. I left my home early and then was stopped twice by unexpected road work. When I got to the office the first thing the receptionist said to me was that I was 20 minutes late. She did not greet me, nor did she smile at me at any time during the exchange of information. I was not late to the appointment and had plenty of time to make out the new patient paperwork. I heard another office worker curtly tell a phone caller that she was not a nurse and could not answer the callers question, and the caller would have to make an appointment. In the patient examine room there is a sign that states you may not ask the doctor any questions that do not pertain to the reason for your present visit. If you have additional questions you have to make another appointment and come back later. I had questions but did not dare ask them. By this time I strongly felt that this doctor and her staff are working hard to make as much money as possible off her patients. It was their goal to get patients in and out of the office as quickly as possible. I was not surprised when the doctor came in and spent 4 minutes with me. I was there to be evaluated for probable skin cancer. I was nervous and upset and the doctor and her staff made me feel worse. I did ask one question and was handed a pamphlet to read later. Her nurse was nice. I will not go back to this office and I will not recommend this doctor to any family or friends.

Our experience at Holland Dermatology was a less than pleasant one. We were greated by her receptionist who obviously does her job well, is organized and was polite, but had little to no personality and spoke to us like a robot. While we waited to be seen, we were surrounded by right-wing magazines and a bible as our choices for reading material. Once in the room, the nurse came in, ran VERY quickly through the new patient forms and med history (which was important as there was previous med issues that needed to be discussed and were not). The Dr. arrived and blew through introductions (mind you were were NEW). She took maybe 1 minute to check out my husbands complaints, talking over his the whole time and appearing to be rushed. She spent MAYBE 3 mins total in the room with us and had her nurse actually write out the script. No one told us how to use the meds. We left and 30 mins after leaving received a call from the nurse with the instructions for meds. Seriously? One more minute to explain what was going on with my husbands meds was too much? Not happy. Will not recommend her to family or friends. She had terrible bedside manner...wasnt at all interested in learning about my husbands previous history or future care of his complaints.

I have been struggling with acne since I was about 13 years old, and I tried every over the counter product ever made. I even went on long term antibiotics prescribed by my family doctor. These worked wonders for a year or so and then stopped working completely. I was struggling very hard with self confidence and I was sick of having to wear make up everyday to hide my pimples. It got to the point where I finally made the decision to take my family Doctor up on the referal to Dr. Barb. Within six weeks of my first visit I was seeing results. Its been about three and a half months now and Ive never felt more comfortable in my own skin. I wish I would have done this years ago. The Doctor and her staff are amazing and I highly recommend them for all your skincare needs!

I now know why so many bad reviews, and why friends advised against Holland Dermatology. ...The VA set up my surgery with this doctor, which they accepted. Two days later Holland Dermatology called me and said they (office mgr) decided to no longer work with the VA, and so my appt was cancelled. They kindly called 12 days before surgery, and I appreciate that they didnt just wait for me to show up, as that would have been an uncomfortable scene for everyone present. I was going to give them a chance, even against much friendly advise against this doctor specifically, simply because they accepted me after a 5 month pre-surgery process with the VA. So now 1 star for not working with military vets, or 2 for calling to tell me that?

Awful customer service! I was extremely disappointed in the quality of care and lack of professionalism. The staff here is extremely rude and the office is very unorganized. I had to call multiple times to get my prescription information correct and get the correct information in my file. I was given different answers by the nurses when I called to ask about prescriptions, and one of the nurses was extremely rude and unhelpful. The doctor was also unprofessional and rushed through all of my appointments within a couple minutes, making it difficult to understand the information I was given or be provided professional care. Would not recommend this office!

Dr. Drosdowski and her staff are top-notch hands down. I have been going to Dr. Drosdowski for many years (originally referred to by another doctor I highly respect). At appointments, she is thorough, attentive, and always has a solution for my skin problems. I leave her office feeling peace of mind that that she is taking care of me. Her nursing and administrative staff are always ready and willing to help. I will only go to Dr. Drosdowski for my dermatologic needs. I trust her completely.

We went to make an appointment with them and they asked to keep our Visa card on file in case we missed an appointment so they could charge us. I understand that some people can be inconsiderate and not call ahead of time to cancel but this is not the way to treat new patents. When we said we wont give them our Visa they said "Im sorry thats our policy". Well not giving out my Visa card to a doctor so they can punish me if Im a bad boy is my policy. They loose. We will find another doctor.

Dr. Barb has been very helpful and knowledgeable in treating members of my family for our different dermatology needs. She is friendly and polite. The nursing staff is professional and has always put my childrens minds at ease even before we see the doctor. She has always solved all of our dermatology problems, trying to find the most cost effective and treatment effective way to do so. I recommend this office to others. Thanks!
