As others have said, no attn to detail or bedside manner. She administered treatment to my 7 year old autistic son without telling me what the treatment was, or even that it WAS a treatment. It wasnt until after the fact that she told me the side effects, which were blistering and potential scarring.....and she put it on his face! She failed to mention that a burning sensation was also a side effect. She could not even give me the actual name of the stuff she used on him, just kept calling it beetle juice and saying it came from Canada (which would make sense considering that I could not find proof that it is even approved by the FDA). Never mentioned that it would need to be cleaned off with soap and water later that night, I found that out on my own doing an internet search! My son has sensory issues and was up all night crying because it burned and because she said not to pop the blisters so he was worried that rolling over while sleeping would pop them. Autistic kids take things very literally and seriously! I wish she would have given me the opportunity to tell her about his sensory problems, or at least let me refuse a treatment that I would have known was going to be an issue if I had known the side effects before she used it. I was given NO options!

I dont ever leave reviews, but after dealing with the front desk and watching them interact and how they behaved with clients ahead of me, I decided to check reviews and wasnt surprised. Staff is rude, uneducated and seemly incompetent. I scheduled my apt for 10, received a confirmation phone call for 10 and got to the office and they told me it wasnt until 1:40. Thankfully they did honor the 10am apt. I was hopeful the doctor would off set this review and not be so bad, but she was worse! She mumbled, was short and just, ... weird! Theres other way to put it. I was in the office to have a mole on my face looked at it, she ended up removing it and when I expressed concern with another that I had, she hardly glanced at it and told me it was a large pore, really!? Once she was done, she told me to call her office sometime next week to get the results. I found that odd, most offices make the call to the client once results are in! She then handed me a paper and said, "take this to the desk" and then she walked out. She left the needle and bloody gauze laying all over the counter. Avoid this office, youll thank me if you do.

When I was seen by Dr. Sanchez I was skeptical. I had small patches of scaly skin along with significant hair loss, and while I knew that one spot was psoriasis I didnt think it all was. I explained my trouble and concerns, and she really didnt seem to care. She barely came within arms reach of me, used her pen to move my hair aside to view my scalp, and pronounced it all to be psoriasis. She then indicated there probably wasnt anything I could do to stop the hair loss but could try steroid ointment along with moisturizing soap and coconut oil. She also told me I should try and reduce stress. I felt as if I had been judged and written off, but I followed her instructions despite my reservations. Nearly 7 weeks later and Im still losing my hair. The only area of skin improving is the one I KNEW was psoriasis. I believe I know what the other patches are, but that will require another visit to a dermatologist - but NOT Dr Sanchez.

I did not have a good experience in this office. I had a spot on my arm that she completely overlooked; I had to specifically point it out to her and she was not concerned. I also has a small growth on my leg that she said was up to me to have it removed as it was purely cosmetic. I had her remove it. When the lab results came back the cells were pre-melanoma cells, so she wanted me to come back so she could remove the rest of it. I switched to another provider. That physician looked at my arm and said he was certain it was skin cancer, and to go ahead and schedule the appt to remove it while we waited on the biopsy results. (It was cancer.) The new provider also commented that the growth on my leg should never have been removed the way it was because it messed up the cellular pattern the lab was trying to analyze.

Had a horrible experience. Went to see her for a dry, red and itchy spot in my eye lid that was spreading to the other eye. It was causing swelling also. She looked at it and said it looked like a sty, I explained that it was not under my eyelid it was on top of my eyelid. She said I "dont know" and " I am not a eye doctor". She wrote me a prescription, having never giving me a diagnosis of what it was and said if it continued to see my family doctor. I had to ask a lot of questions to get any information from her and had to ask what she was giving me for a prescription. Nothing was explained well or diagnosed. So I left having to pay a $75 co-pay plus no diagnosis from a dermatologist "Specialist" who was no help at all.

Far and away the worst, least caring doctor I have had the misfortune to visit. I got about 2 minutes of her time, during which she seemed irritated to see me for that long. She looked at my problem from no closer that 4 feet away, said "dont touch it or scratch it", although she could not tell me what the rash on my face was. No prescription or recommendation even for any kind of treatment. I promptly was billed $118 for that "professional" visit, and when I called to make the payment I was told "you dont have a balance with us". Of course I got billed again, so apparently they did in fact want my money. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time with this individual.

Personally, I dont understand the negative reviews. Ive seen Dr Sanchez on more than one occasion. I had been misdiagnosed by another Dr. recently. VERY glad I went back to Dr Sanchez. I had a list of all current medications with me when I arrived (it helps to prepare). She was through in her exam. Her diagnosis was correct. She prescribed both an oral medication and a gel for my face. Its markedly improved in only a week. With this level of progress so quickly, Im sure itll be fine just as she said. Id recommend her to anyone that wants a top notch dermatologist. I found the office staff to be courteous, professional and efficient.

Well if you dont understand why there are 1 star ratings then you can visit the brain and spine clinic right across the street. There were 2 receptionists and the one was very nice and the other needs to find a garage to work in or construction site. She was intimidating the nice girl and using her to do the job she was hired for cause she doesnt know anything about how an office works. Dr Sanchez smoke another doobie. It was like talking to a zombie. Quick splash of compound W with real beetle enzymes and dont forget to eat your carrots. Come on, what a waste of time going there when I couldve done it myself.
