I see Dr Reusch and I think he is great! Courteous, professional and good at his job. (7/22/14) The person who answers the phone however was very rude -her tone of voice, she spoke fast and impatiently - interrupted me and asked me to spell my name, then asked me again rudely as I was spelling it out. Seemed pleased to tell me new patients cant get in for 3 months as I was trying to make an appointment for my son (who hasnt been there before). I ended up without an appointment for him. Also I saw Dr Vasquez once and he dismissed my concerns as nothing, when I saw Dr Reush the following week he diagnosed the problem Dr. Vasquez couldnt. I cant speak about the rest of the dermatologists, but as far as Im concerned the only thing good about the Holland location is Dr Reusch.

I have been to both Vasquez and VanderVeen. Both of them are incompetent in helping my rash. I tell them it happens with heat and Vasquez said I had scabies, which matched NONE of my other symptoms. The treatment helped nothing. I went in again and he gave me a cream, which did nothing. I went in for a shot, which did nothing. Went to VanderVeen got a pill and a new cream, nothing helped and it actually got worse. I suggested I go see an allergist and he said, "it seems like that would be a good suggestion." So now Ive waited over a week for the allergist to call but Ill assume they did not contact the allergist either. The Holland office is a joke. At least my experience has been.

i am highly disappointed, rude staff when call... my first time there, I waited 25 minutes after my scheduled appt, was only in the actual appt for 20! I had a mole removed but the treatment did not work. In the notes they sent, I was to call and come back if the treatment did not take. They could not get me for another 3 months to fix their failure! When I asked to schedule my 1 year, they wont their policy is only 6 months in advance. I will be looking for a different dermatologist, even if I have to go to GR

Ive had a fairly negative experience with Dr. Dekkingas practice. So far the office seems poorly run. They neglected to send in a request for lab draw to a local hospital which lead to me wasting an hour of my day. They also rarely pick up the phone when you call. Everyone in the office seems nice enough but it is just a pain to get in contact with people and they seem to drop the ball a lot.

Receptionists are always rude, I always dread calling to make an appointment for this reason. Very short and interrupt you while trying to speak. The doctors are great, I have alot of sensitive skin issues and have seen many Dermatologists and this is the only office that prescribes me something that works.

im a veteran with skin cancer...very disappointed to find out this Dr.s firm does not except the Veterans Choice Program...but he does have the freedom, liberty and right to do so...thanks Doc..

They request to have an appointment for one to 6 months. I am not satisfied to wait too long because my skin problem become worse and they can not help nothing.
