AWFUL. The staff are very disrespectful and what they charge students is outrageous. They will come up with any excuse to make you come in for several appointments no matter why youre there and you will pay over a hundred bucks just to speak to an NP for ten minutes. I saw Haley Crites, to complain of fatigue and ADD symptoms. She gave me a medication which she said would help me stay awake and focus and it did the EXACT opposite. Made me feel like a zombie and sleep all day. Now I am stopping and after only a few weeks and am experiencing SEVERE withdrawal symptoms heading into the last few weeks of the semester, and Ive found out that she started me at a high dose and that it is a medication not even designed to treat the issues I was complaining of. Was never warned at all of the effects or how dangerous withdrawal is and how quickly dependence is formed. They just want to fleece you and leave you worse than when you came in. Avoid at all costs. Also notice how many of the four or five-star reviews are recent and have no commentary... I feel sick to my stomach and have constant headaches. My body aches all over and I cant eat or sleep and I have finals to start and a very important conference Im presenting at next month. These people poisoned me for profit. They are putting my academic career at risk to make a buck. They have no right to call themselves doctors or medical professionals. They are predators fleecing students in a vulnerable position with no regard for the harm they do.

I would not recommend going here for any type of mental health issues. The staff is rude and unhelpful and doesnt take the time to listen. Was a patient of DR. BARBRA HOPPS, who is supposedly a psychiatrist, more like a pill pusher. She rarely listened to my issues and was quick to write out a script even when I told her I would rather not be on medication unless its absolutely necessary, which most of the time it wasnt. One of the scripts she gave me caused me to have blackouts and causing me to display addictive behaviors which I have had no history of in the past and when I told her this she basically accused me of using other things while on the drug which i did not do i didnt even drink while on it and made me take a drug test. She dropped me as a patient and told me she couldnt help me and on top of that she gave me no resources to get further help and made no suggestions as to what I should do now. She obviously cares little about her patients and is the worst doctor Ive seen. AVOID SEEING DR .BARBRA HOPPS AT ALL COSTS, she will only make your condition worse. I would like to see the Kalamazoo Board of Doctors review her and her past patients because she seriously should not be a doctor anymore.

If you want high quality treatment DO NOT go here. The people who answer the phones and work at the office desks are ALWAYS rude and talk to you like you are an annoying kid. I was only a number to them. My last experience with them was when I left early from work to make the last possible follow-up appointment until the following week. I received improper treatment of an infection earlier in the week, and after going through an extremelly painful week, they would not see me when I was 5 minutes late. I switched to Bronson Hospital and could not be more glad that i did, i think it is understated how important it is for people to be kind to each other, especially when you are sick or in pain. do yourself a favor and dont waste the frustration until this place starts to compete with the others healthcare facilities in the area

It all depends on the doctor that treats you. Overall, I had a really bad experience with an specific "doctor (physician)". She gave me an antibiotic which produced me ringing in the ear and floaters in the eye which could lead to retinal detachment. I called her as soon as the symptoms appear. She told me to continue the medication. She didnt believe my symptoms were real. She told me that because I was international I was feeling homesick and anxious. After all, I came back home for medical assistance. I have permanent tinnitus and I am using glasses. All doctors here (back home )have asked me the same question. "Why didnt she stopped the medication?" Oh well. I am writing this because you should be careful who you see. Also, doctors should take the patients seriously here.

The services I was given on the upper level were beyond my expectations for what I thought was the universitys nurses office. They listen & they assess appropriately. Never once did I encounter a mean employee. From these reviews Im given the impression that these people reviewing the staff seriously expect them to put on a fake smile, act really happy, and close the sale by saying, "Thank you! Have a wonderful day!" This is a doctors office, not a McDonalds. Regardless, I went through extensive treatment & never encountered a problem with these people that just make me happy to be around. They listened to me, asked me relevant questions to my symptoms, gave me adequate treatment & sometimes we even joked around a bit.

I called to make an appointment and the lady was rude and seemed to want nothing more than to get the call over with. When I went to get a physical, they literally only checked things I could have checked myself (heart rate, blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight). For 200$ a physical, I feel like it was a complete waste. Thats all stuff I could check myself. They dont check anything else unless we "experience symptoms". Physicals are literally supposed to be preventative methods to serious health problems but the way their system is set up is we have to actually experience a health issue before they check anything.

Describe Sindecuse in one statement: -_- As a WMU student I have gone to several appointments and regularly pick up prescriptions here. -The staff is very rude, and when you ask them something they act like youre the stupid one when they cant answer a simple question -The pharmacy is better but definitely not worth your time. Go to Walgreens they have NEVER messed up any of my prescriptions unlike Sindecuse. Every other time I go there to get the same pills they screw something up -_-

Never had a problem until today when they gave me my prescriptions short 6 pills in each prescription and over billed my insurance. When I called them they said there was nothing they could do since it left their facility. If you fill prescriptions here make sure you count them before you leave. If you dont want to do that then go somewhere more reliable because they are not reliable here.

The medical and counciling staff alike have provided me with exceptional services over the last few years. They are very friendly and caring and take the time to make sure that everyone is getting the care they need and deserve. This had by far been one of the best parts about going to WMU, being able to go to Syndecuse for my medical and psychological needs.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They remember your name. They understand you dont fell well and try to get you seen as quickly as possible. Love the pharmacy staff. You never leave without clearly understanding your prescription.
