BEWARE: An absolute joke of a doctor - only cares to talk about himself - has no intention of truly diagnosing you or helping. The Dr. does not care to hear anything from you or ask any questions. Hed rather prescribe you something and move on - and if youre overweight or a woman - be prepared to be treated even worse. I heard him tell several women (through the thin walls) that there was no excuse for them to be fat. He said "Look, Im busy too, but Im not fat". But then could be speaking to an overweight male about his suite at the Tigers game. Thats the day I waited 2 HOURS after my scheduled time to see him - and he was talking about how cheap his season tickets were at $2400. Once he came to see me, he only asked what I was there for (clearly documented I was there for a yearly physical) and proceeded to speak to me like an idiot - about items Id discussed with him that should have been documented in my record. He never seemed to read any notes before walking in - thank goodness I dont have any severe drug allergies and wouldnt allow him to misdiagnose me. In previous appointments, I jokingly mentioned his lack of bedside manner and improper manners, but he obviously has not realized the affects of his condescending and "Jump to Diagnosis" tendencies. This isnt even a place I would suggest my enemies visit.

Dr Hasbany is the reason I absolutely hate going to the doctor as an adult. He was our family doctor, and as a kid, I was always terrified of going because he would make me feel uncomfortable and self-conscious for being overweight. No matter what I came in for - the problem was my weight. And never once was the conversation solutions-oriented. It was more along the lines of, "Well, you know youre overweight right? So thats probably the issue." To this day, I find myself having a hard time trusting anyone enough with my health to find a PCP. After I stopped seeing him, I lost 70 pounds through diet and exercise (not that the two events are related, just hope that he sees this). Thanks for the trust issues, Dr. H.

Very uncomfortable I paid 125 dollars and he didint even give me a physical he just had his daughter who hes training and some other girl come in and take my blood pressure and ask me a bunch of dumb questions before he himself finally decided to waist hes time by coming in and basically telling me I was to overweight to even bother helping me with my gout problem Im surprised he could even get by his bigoted attitude to even rite my scripts for me I know I dont have medical insurance but at least my old doctor would have done blood work for me oh well I guess hes one of those doctors who only see dollar bills not human beings terrible experience on my part will not be going back

Terrible doc. He spent only about 4 minutes with me. Unsurprisingly, I was misdiagnosed. He also told me the name of a home remedy and then said to "Google it." No further explanation. Does he have any idea how much misinformation is on the internet? All I have to say is thank god I got a second opinion. Dr. Hasbany is one of the nightmare, get-in-get-out doctors you hear about. That he got his education in the Caribbean instead of the USA says a lot. Its also impossible to call his office: his answering machine will say the office is closed during the very times that the same answering machine message says the office is open. What is that about!? DO NOT SEE HIM!

Doctor Hasbany is very caring! I lost weight because he motivated me to lose it. Im actually grateful for his sternness when he lets me know my life is at risk if i didnt drop the weight. Since 2008 Ive lost about 40 lbs and still need to lose more. He can be a little forward but thats his character, but hes sincere! if you smoke its not healthy and he doesnt tolerate it. Its worth the 2 hour wait... Ill be back..

Rude, arrogant, condescending, sorry excuse for a Doctor. I was told that because I was a smoker that he was refusing me medical treatment because, and i qoute "I dont work with smokers." now i know its a horroble habit (im working on quitting) but im pretty sure youre not allowed to say that type of stuff to people when youre a Doctor.

Dr. Hasbany MD is a very caring doctor. He teaches about diet and exercise as a Healthy lifestyle. He is currently doing a trail for Shingles. I have been going to him for a decade and I would recommend him to all of my friends.
