I could not hope for a more knowledgeable, kind, patient, and caring pediatrician for my children. Dr. Mavani was recommended to me after I was dissatisfied by the care my 1.5 year old daughter was receiving from her original pediatrician. In our first appointment, she listened to my concerns, identified a previously undiagnosed issue, and developed an effective treatment plan. I am so thankful that Dr. Mavani was already involved with my family when my second child was born. He has had a number of health issues, and it is so comforting to know he is being cared for by the best! She has beautifully integrated traditional medicine with some more holistic approaches to optimize his care. After seeing such positive results (improved sleep and digestion) from the massage techniques she taught us, even my more "traditional medicine- minded" husband became a believer. Dr. Mavani also surrounds herself with a great team. My children love Nurse Vicki, and I will forever be grateful for the care and support she provided via a nightly phone call as we were going through a medical emergency with my son. The combination of Dr. Mavanis intelligence, kindness and impeccable bedside manner paired with her excellent team, make Dr. Mavani one of the very best doctors I have ever encountered!

The place is ran like a zoo. They actually call you wanting to know why youre leaving their office! Thats harassment. They pack in so many appointments that they get very backed up. Been there only a few times and every time I went they were over booked, front staff is very rude, back staff is running around like chickens with their heads off. They pack you in the their lab with other patients so everybody knows your business why youre there then send you back in the lobby. Thats great, its called HIPAA btw. When you finally get called back not only did you have to answer the nurses questions for why you are there but then you go into a room and have students come in the room before you see the doctor to pretty much answer the same questions you were asked and THEN you get to see the doctor which they only stay in the room for about 2 minutes. Dont waste your time here. Too busy and if you want your child to be known as a person and not a number go somewhere else. When I see/hear about busy doctors office I dont believe in the saying that goes with "Its because they are a good doctor". No its because you are a greedy doctor and you focus on how many you can pack in. Quality over quantity.

I took my child in for checkups but Dr. Mavani totally rejected my child in front of him and me because she only wants patients who are immunized. It was not professional and she was very rude. My son stated "She basically is kicking us out of here". I dont support immunizations because of the toxic substances such as mercury that is loaded into these injections. Dr. Mavani has her own philosophy of how her little world should operate. She wants her perfect little world in her perfect little way. I respect that, but, on the other hand, she misses out on the point of helping every child that walks into her medical office as human beings. She is a doctor that comes from a third world country in India. I can see how she doesnt want to deal or face children that she has to fix up that dont compete to her standards. Her philosophy is one that has to take in patients that are new babies through teen years. So, for example, if your child is 7, 12 or even 15, she doesnt want them.

Dr Mavani is an amazing pediatrician. She has been our kids doctor since they were infants. We stumbled across her as our oldest was having a severe egg allergy & the other doctor was not able to see him. I happen to called her office & she personally got on the phone with me. Then she had me bring in our son right away to make sure she can treat him properly. Since then, she has always treated my kids & she is always accurate on her diagnosis & treatment. She works with her patients & parents to meet their needs. She is incredibly passionate about her profession & she takes her time with her patients in order to truly understand the issue. Sometimes you might have to wait to see her, but she will give your children the same high level of care & treatment as she has done for other patients.... so be patient because you are in great hands! I would strongly recommend her! She is a very intelligent person, an amazing doctor & very open minded!

We have seen Dr Mavani since April 2000! I cant believe its been 17 years but I wouldnt take my children to any other doctor. Dr. Mavani and her staff are amazing! I would recommend and have recommended her to family and friends. I would not take my children to anyplace other than Doctors for Kids. Sometimes you wait to see her, but then when you need to speak with her for a long time, she is there for you and your children. I am okay with that because the care and knowledge that I get is above and beyond. She not only cares for your children but for the well being of the entire family. She understands that if 1 of your children are ill or having issues, it impacts the entire family. And she wants the best for your children and family.

Doctor Mavani is amazing! Two of my children have food allergies and she has helped me so much with that. She always takes the time I need with her and doesnt make me feel rushed or that she shes too busy to sit and answer all of my questions and concerns. Her nurse practitioners are just as helpful and follow the same philosophy as Dr. Mavani which is to approach things with a holistic option when possible before pumping drugs into your children and I appreciate that so much. Great office! Youd be lucky to have Dr. Mavani taking care of your children.

We love Dr. Mavani! I have been going to Dr. Mavani since my first child was born eleven years ago and Ive never considered changing doctors. Dr. Mavani obviously cares about my children and their health. She takes the time to talk with them as well as me. This makes all of us feel that she truly hears what is going on with their health and cares about giving the best care possible. I completely trust Dr. Mavani with my childrens health and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thorough and loving doctor for their children.

“Doctors for Kids”??... They should call their office “Bigots for Kids”... While taking my son in I overheard the front staff badmouthing a transgender girl who had been in earlier that day. At a different appointment several months ago, I saw the way they looked at a same-sex couple. It was like they are second class citizens. Sure, Dr. Mavani is a good doctor, but I can’t believe it is 2017 and people can be so close minded, inconsiderate, and judgmental, especially in a profession setting.

Dr. Mavani and her staff are wonderful and caring towards not just their patients but the parents too! I like it that her first approach isnt always medicine, if something can be done with holistic medicine, she will recommend that. When I told her I was uneasy about vaccinations, she walked me through it all and suggested a slower/longer shot schedule. I would highly recommend Doctors for Kids to every and anyone.
