NOT RECOMMENDED, Cold, hurried, and inhumane staff - declerc9 - 2009-08-02 Because of its proximity to our home, when we adopted our too puppies we brought them here for their puppy vaccinations and health exams. We had to request that their feces was examined to make sure that our pups had no parasite problems. We were told that no news was good news and were glad when we did not hear anything. We called about a week after their first apt. and were told that our pups in fact did have tape worm and they would need treatment. This vet never called us to make us aware...they would still have these parasites if we had not called ourselves. PLEASE READ ON. About 3 months after the above event, one of our adored puppies got struck by a car. We had to pay $200 just for the emergency admittance. I had called about every hour to see if they had done the xrays yet and what we could expect. Our puppy was at this hospital for three hours before I got to speak to the actual vet. He had still not yet done the xrays or even bandaged my little puppys leg up with the bone sticking out. Her wound had been left open. He advised us (THREE HOURS AFTER ADMITTANCE) that we should transport her to another animal hospital. We immediately transported her to his other hospital and were informed that our little puppy had not received any pain medication while at Apple Ave Animal clinic. This put us in shock and disbelief. Our beloved puppy had been hit by a car, not bandaged, given pain medication, or attention for three hours while at this vet. Fortunately, after surgery our little pup will be able to fully recover and run around with her brother eventually. Thanks to our decision to transfer animal clinics and get our adorable puppy adequate care. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS VET.

Id read some of the horrible things posted about this clinic & was very nervous about taking my dog there. Luckily I found the vets & nurses to be very compassionate, thorough & realistic. They take the time to very thoroughly explain whats going on with your animal & all of your options. In addition to that, they arent just "out to get your money". Id signed consent to have a battery of tests run & after one x-ray the problem was found & the vet ceased all other testing & called me immediately. Id say that even though their prices are a little higher than some other clinics in town, theyre worth every penny. My baby cant be saved, but now Im able to make her comfortable for the remainder of her days, all thanks to them.

After we were suspicious that our little puppy may have been pregnant with a much bigger dogs puppies while being outside a short 15 minutes in the morning to go potty while we got ready for the day.(A large stray that had come in to our neighborhood-thankfully it was a false pregnancy) We asked if they would humanly do a abortion/spay to potentially save her life, they replied "we dont abort here" This could have killed our dog, and contributed to the pet population problem. What are they thinking!? After my experience, and reading the one above, (Myself being a former Veterinary Tech. before we had moved here and I changed jobs, ) It re- confirmed my decision to not take my animals here for care. THANK YOU!

Needless to say my dog needed surgery, I was told that the procedure was simple and to go off w/o a hitch. The next day I received a phone call that they preformed the operation and that my dog was worse off and she need additional treatments and that I need to pay and additional money [$800] plus even more money to have my dog euthanized... The service was crude and cold and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, Id rather leave my dog w/ Michael Vick or shoot the muthaphucker myself. This place is all about the bottom line, $$$$! I wish they had a phucking zero star rating on this site!

Quick and efficient. Doctor is very good at understanding the animals. He determined the issue our dog had when no other vet could. After our dog was spayed an odd bump formed around the incision and the Doctor removed it no charge. There has been no problem since. At first the Doctor seemed kind of distant but now he seems to talk more and shows a lot of care for the animals.

I have been with the animal clinic for about 22 years and 4 dogs. My poodle was 19 years when he was laid to rest and the staff was with me all the way. They took excellent care of him. My other dogs have received the same treatment. One visit can never really tell what type of vet or clinic you are dealing with but the relationship you establish throughout the years.

Have been trying to get a response from clinic owner Mark Lelli for over a week now about a livestock "guardian" dog that he and his wife, Brenda Lelli, sold us through their business Beechtree Farms. The dog abandoned the sheep and killed our livestock. Neither Mark nor Brenda will return emails or phone calls. We are going to litigation soon.

This Week, a dog who has been seen there FOR 14 YEARS was suffering greatly. My friend needed to bring the dog in to be seen and was told that you were too busy even for emergencies. Luckily, another vet had some compassion and saw the dog within an hour. They were so sick that they needed to be put down. That is just heartless.

Best Vets ever. They get to the diagnosis and do it with compassion. Both are animal lovers from the get go and it shows. Ive been to Dr. Lellis farm and they have wonderful Great Pyrenees dogs that live right in with the sheep and chickens. All of them are as gentile as a lamb so to speak!!!

Other than the expensive prices, the vets are nice, they care about your pet and are willing to try any options. An okay location, kind of small but other than that its a nice place to bring your pet.
