Really disappointing experience. I purchased glasses and contacts a year ago. The deal was that if I purchased the glasses, I would get a year supply of contacts free. The glasses took forever to come in. Also, I am pretty sure the contacts may have been defective. I had never had issues with my contacts previously (I had purchased from another place before). The contacts I purchased from Pearle, however, which were the same brand I had worn for years, really bothered my eyes. When I opened up a few of them, they were balled up inside the package. I thought that maybe my eyes had changed or something and after wearing this year supply for a year (and being uncomfortable) and running out, I went to my previous place and purchased contacts and have had no trouble since. Lesson learned, I will never buy from them again and would recommend not buying a year supply of contacts from them.

We will NEVER go back there nor do we recommend anyone else going there. The prices are outrageous and the customer service is sketchy at best. You never get the same answer twice nor do You EVER get to speak to a manager. I bought a pair of progressive glasses and my cost after insurance was over $550 dollars. After a week i went back because i hated them . They exchanged them for single vision. My wife asked about a refund for the difference and a manager was suppose to call after 2 weeks she went in. They said again there was no manager but looked up my file an said there was only a $70 difference going from progressive lenses to single vision! Then i go in the next day to get my glasses and they saythere WAS NO REFUND! After leaving there we stopped at another optical place told the complete story, and they said there should have been a refund. WHAT A COMPLETE RIP OFF

Took 9 weeks and 9 trips back and forth to finally get my glasses in the correct prescription and in the correct frame. I calculated I spent over 15 hrs of my time and drive over 270 miles. Didi I mention the glasses were over $400 (after insurance discounts, etc.)? Wrong frame, glasses made wrong, told to pick them up when they werent ready, second eye exam to confirm glasses made wrong, etc. Ive used Pearle for many years - first bad experience. The really sad part? The store manager never returned my call, not did corporate customer service respond to the email I sent after indicating theyd "respond in 3 business days". DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Absolute worst experience ever. The MOST OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED place for glasses and contacts. We had three different appointments and still spent over $1000 AFTER insurance. Never again will I go there, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Customer service is terrible, optician only gives you the expensive contacts and doesnt offer any more information until you complain, and even then its half of the story. Never again. Save yourself the several different trips and your salary for a few weeks and go somewhere that cares about the customers and not their money.

Had a good experience with the eye doctor. My issue was with customer service. I was charged $70 for a contact lens fitting that no one informed me of, when I made the appointment online I checked no to contact lens fitting. I have been getting eye exams every year the past 11 years to order new contacts and have never been charged more than $5 after my insurance covers the eye exam. Take your business else where in the mall I had a wonderful experience at JcPenney optical.

I had a great experience there the optometrist was extremely professional and was completely explanatory about the condition and health of my eyes things I have never been told by other eye Drs with the exception of one Dr Bohnet which is retired so now pearle vision is where myself and family will go for our eyewear and exams as far as pricing you get what you pay for if you want quality eyewear then pearle vision is where you want to go Thank you pearle vision!!!

Copay for visit was supposed to be $10... The total was much much more than that and couldnt pay that today. The office ladies didnt offer to bill or to make payments. They demanded that I take out the trial pair of contacts "take out the trial pair Im dead serious. If you cant pay, take them out now". NEVER going back to that place. Called and complained to the manager, offered no solution. Wasted my yearly exam and no contacts for the next year.

I am extremely disappointed with Pearl Vision. We have been longtime loyal customers, but it has taken us a month to get my husbands glasses that we spent $1000 for and paid extra for them to be rushed. When I call them they are completely bumbling, incompetents unable to even make a simple phone call to the lab to find out why the glasses are taking so long. We still dont have the glasses and probably never will. Take your money elsewhere.

Terrible experience. Will never go back. I have been to this place three times: two times they made me wait between 45min to an hour before the doctor showed up to see me and the other time they turned me around by blaming me for being 10min late due to their miscommunication. They complain to be short-staffed and have no solution to their many problems. Try to avoid this place.

So frustrated and disappointed with this Pearle Vision. I was a loyal customer who spent so much money here. Never using the Pearle Vision company again, and would not recommend. It took them over 2 months to get me my $575 sunglass purchase and I had to follow up numerous times to find out where they were.

The doctor was by far the best I have ever seen. Not only was she especially nice but she explained the necessary information in a way that was easy to understand. I would go back to this office for the doctor alone but the team surrounding her if great too.

I remember going here as a kid but have moved away since. Came home to visit and had a great experience here. Staff was very friendly and helped to fix a frame that they were not able to order. They seem pretty busy so an appointment is probably a good idea.

Ive liked all the docs ive seen. Been going here for quite sometime now. But i had my appt june 10th and ordered glasses.. It is now july 11th and they still are not in yet.. May be the last time i get new glasses from here.

Terrible customer service and incompetant staff. Ive been given incorrect prescriptions twice now, and getting the correct contact lenses to avoid vision damage is a seriously uphill battle. Stay clear

They withhold your prescription until you pressure them, or cave in and buy contacts/glasses through them. This violates state and federal laws, and is an antitrust violation.
