My 4 months old son was given WRONG vaccine by Pediatric Consultants of Troy, located at Suite 222 Troy Beaumont Hospital. On March 16, 2015, I took my 4 months old son to Pediatric Consultants of Troy for his 4 months well check. He was given 3 vaccine shots. On March 31, I received a call from a supervisor of Pediatric Consultants of Troy. She told me that my son was given a wrong vaccine. I was totally shocked by the call and did not know what could happen to my baby in future. On the phone, I was told my son was supposed to be given HIB2. Instead, he was given Hep A1. Hep A1 should be given after a baby is 12 months old. I was told to bring my son back to get HIB2. My husband and I brought my son to Pediatric Consultants of Troy in the afternoon on the same day when I received the call. I asked to meet the office manager and a doctor. I asked them to explain to me what happened and what potential risk which my baby boy could be faced with. I was told that the nurse who gave my sons vaccine grabbed the wrong one from refrigerator due to negligence. The error was identified during an inventory count on March 30.I would never recommend any parents to bring their kids to this Pediatric Consultants of Troy. Don’t make the same mistakes as I did to put your kids in danger.

Ive been with them for 18 yrs plus and trusted them, last year my son needed a referral and they scheduled him in the office although they were not part of network for that services, so I paid $75 for 2 visits that were covered at 100% plus they have been sending the bill for the difference for a long time now. They refuse to send bill to the provider and deal with the difference not to mention that they dont do their job as primary care providers. I understood from speaking with them that they are there to take not give anything, I feel they were trained by the used car salesmen team

Recently moved to the area and needed a new pediatrician for my sons 18m check. This place was recommended by a new neighbor with three children. It is in a very inconvenient location having to walk through the hospital however the environment was very welcoming, we were seen within 15min of arriving, the nurses and doctor were sincerely concerned for my childs comfort and well-being. Im very happy with having gone here and would definitely recommend.

Dr. Dreyer is one of the best physicians I have ever met. She has a great rapport with the children. She never rushes through an exam, and is very thorough. Dr. Dreyer always allows you to express your concerns, questions and suggestions regarding your childs treatment.
