I am so thankful that we found Family Pet Practice! They are so helpful, caring and understanding! My fiance, Brad Nance and I moved to Keego Harbor a couple of years ago and over the last summer, we noticed a lot of stray cats were hanging out in our backyard, we especially noticed a smaller kitten that was definitely the runt. As the weather started to get cold, I started to feed the kittens because I felt horrible for them. A few weeks later, the only kitten that was not afraid of us and would let us hold her was the small gray one I mentioned earlier... I noticed her belly was swollen and from then I knew we have adopted a cat! Right away my Fiance called Family Pet Practice and they let us bring her in right away! No questions asked! They were so accommodating and made us feel comfortable from the get go. They offered us a new kitty plan which is wonderful so you dont have to pay everything right then and there. They have great communication and are super helpful! One of the tech even let us borrow her live trap to attempt to catch the other kittens to hopefully get them homes! I love Family Pet Practice and you can tell they truly care for you and the animals! Thank you Family Pet Practice!!

I used to love this vet and took all my animals there well i just got a dog bella who started having seizures so i took her into them and they ran tests are her which cost me over 400 bucks so when they came back they told me that everything came back normal her heart and everything was fine started her on seizure meds which were not helping after a month so i tryed to talk to them about other meds to help with the seizures they would not try anything then i come to find out that bella did have a heart issue and they never told me so my sweet bella is gone from me for good and its their fault u guys are horrible people who care about no one or about peoples babies all u care about is the money and if i were u like i am going to i would keep looking for another vet this one is no good they are all assholes and will get theirs for what they did to me and bella i cried so hard for my girl go find another vet they will hurt ur animals in the long run

This place is amazing. Clean environment and very friendly staff! My dog broke her toe and needed an x-ray done. Before they did any procedures after the inital checkup, they gave me an invoice summarizing how much everything would cost. Of course it can change if any unforeseen circumstances arise, but it was nice to know before hand. They showed me the x-ray and then asked if my dogs vaccines were up to date. I said, yes, and what i loved was that they didnt try to "sell" me things saying my dog needed this and that. They said "okay", patched up my dog in a splint and then I was on my way out. The people here really care about your animals and arent out for the money. After searching for a long time, I think I have found my forever vet for my babies.

They are very knowledgeable and understanding of all pets needs. They handle my pet as if she was their own. I have a Border Collie that was taking pills every day, for what I was told, the rest of her life for a UTI type disease. The Doctor at Family Pet Practice informed me this was unnecessary and was probably just a ploy to give my former vet money each month. I stopped giving my dog the meds and she is fine and as healthy as ever! Also, I rescued a cat outside my house and they fixed her right up with excellent diagnoses and care. I didnt have a cat carrier so they entrusted me with one of their own (which I propyl returned, of course). I highly recommend Family Pet Practice!!!! If you love your pet, you will love this vet!

From the first telephone appointment inquiry with Marianne to the outpouring of love, care and concern the entire staff showered my new furbaby with at check in, to our warm and well informed LVT Jasmine and friendly and caring Dr. Craig I knew Parker and I had made the proper choice in establishing our Vet relationship here at Family Pet Practice. They use the latest technology for confirming appointnents and have taken a stand for going green with a jump drive of educational materials as opposed to lots of papers. The location is welcoming and they truly treat your fur baby like youre at the pediatrician. If you love your pets like I think you do then this is the Veterinarian office to visit.

Maryann at Family Pet Practice has repeatedly done an excellent job of accommodating our needs! She goes the extra mile to make sure my dog and I have a good experience every time we visit the office. The office is inviting and pet friendly - the lobby area is spacious. They also have exam rooms that allow you to exit directly outdoors to avoid conflicts with other pets that maybe in the waiting area if you need the extra distance! I am confident my dog is in excellent hands when he is with the staff - I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of veterinary services!

I didnt get the answer I had hoped for about my dogs health, but this team genuinely cares about their clients. I was able to get an appointment on short notice and was seen immediately at arrival. The Dr and the techs were very professional, personable and understanding of financial constraints as they did not push any unnecessary treatments on me. One of the first vets Ive ever visited where I got the impression that they truly cared about my pets well being and not forcing unnecessary procedures down my throat. Based on one visit I trust these people with my pets.

I am a new dog owner, having just rescued my fur baby a month ago. When I rescued her, she came with a bladder infection and vaccinations that were not up-to-date. Having no knowledge, we just Googled a vet and called the first one that sounded promising. Family Pet Practice found me an appointment within 24 hours and we were seen as soon as we walked in. The doctor and techs made it very clear how much they love animals and made us feel that they truly care. They will definitely be my babys vet from now on :)

Love this office! The employees there are sweet and are great at listening to all the tedious details when I bring my cats to them. I also LOVE that this office does not do declaring procedures on cats. They are setting the standard for other offices to follow! They always call to check on my animals after our visits and answer any questions. Appointments are easy to make and they always make it work if you call last minute! The office is beautiful and its clear they care about the well-being of my animals!

I love going here, the staff is always so friendly from the ladies at the front desk to the Doctors and techs. They can usually squeeze my pups in if theres an issue I need to be checked on asap. Dr. Richards was the best when it came time to let my beautiful Daisy go, she made sure we were well informed on the process and allowed us our extra time to say our goodbyes. I think it would be hard to find some place else that would do better than they do.
