Mr. Chang (I wont even refer to him as a doctor bc hes so shady & should have his medical license snatched & reported to the appropriate authorities, which I plan on doing next) is nothing but a business man. He rips people off (they make you pay first assuming for that exact reason) I paid $150 to sit in his office for 15 minutes to not even address what my personal mental problems are. He pushes only the prescriptions with whom he has contracted through a pharmaceutical company. He does not care about the real mental problems that people are dealing with on a daily basis. He doesnt even care to get to know you or your families mental history. He tried writing me 3 different anti-depressant prescriptions & would not prescribe anything for my terrible panic attacks & severe anxiety. Ive seen a few psychiatrists since I was 24 years old (now 38) and have been on the same medications since then. He treated me as if I had some sort of addiction problem when I was only there to figure out why the meds Ive been on for so long dont seem to be working like they used to. This man is a complete incompetent money embezzling unprofessional who will soon be investigated. So after trying to write me 3 different medications, I questioned him about side effects, etc..I was literally told verbatim "dont worry about it, just take them" as you may assume, I walked right out, was going to cancel my check for the 150 but didnt want to get into trouble so this is my only means aside from reporting him that I have to get the word out that this man should not be a doctor at all. He made 150 for 15 minutes of utter bullshit. I take my mental health very serious & to him, it was just another sales pitch on pushing more drugs. PLEASE BE AWARE!

Dr. Chang has been my Dr. For many yrs. I stopped going to him in hopes I could battle my anxiety and depression on my own 3 yrs later I have not conquered it so I plan on returning soon. I have never had a problem with Dr. Chang. He has always handled my case very professionally. He always asked many questions about my family history. I was also having a problem with nothing working so every 2 weeks I was going back , he always prescribed something different in hopes that it would work. Unfortunately because of the abuse of drugs from some people (not me) I felt very awkward going in saying " this isnt working" he never made me feel like anything but a patient trying to get help. It surprises me with this kind of feedback from people. I will definitely post another review after I see him again.

I had an appointment with them and ended up having issues with my insurance. Instead of rescheduling I offered to pay cash (because I can afford to be reimbursed later). Its at this point that they refused to see me because of the fact that I was paying cash. During my exchange with the office I told them twice not to call until later in the day because I work third shift. I was called both times waking me up out of much needed sleep. I expressed my frustration but no one seemed to want my business. In short, these individuals lack empathy and do not deserve your business.

Ive been to many syc drs this by far the worst! Im on very strong meds n i could not afford my copay i called n left a message requesting for my script to be filled 3 calls i made to them n didnt get an answer for over a week! N i still had to call them for it. And he wouldnt call it in still. Now im abruptly taken off my syc meds and very sick. They do not care about u just ur money. Ive been to many sycs this is by far the worst!!!!

They told me when I first went there that they accepted my insurance and I would not have to pay anything. Great! So, I went only a couple of times, (less than ten visits), and now I get bills for $500+ charges saying my insurance was denied the whole time. EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID I WOULD BE COMPLETELY COVERED. THEY WILL LIE TO GET YOUR MONEY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I am extremely happy with Apex. Never any complaints about this facility. I attend once per week and recommend my psychologist, Steve Mandell to anybody. He is a great psychologist. I have seen several behavioral therapist in the past and never had one as good and as fitting as Steve. They have flexible hours and are a caring and compassionate facility.

The dr was extremely rude from the moment I sat down. Flailing her arms, rolling her neck and eyes with a condescending tone. I wish I was exaggerating. Pat should learn how to communicate with people better. The desk staff is nice.
