I was referred to Lifesmiles Family Dentistry by my co-worker, who just raved about how good they were. From the time I made the appointment until I was seen, it was so fast and easy. I called on a Tuesday and was seen on a Wednesday morning. I live in Minneapolis which is a much longer way to drive to see a dentist. When I first arrived, I filled out the paperwork and the ladies at the front desk were so nice and helpful. Especially, with me being a new patient and with an emergency tooth problem. I was seen, and was referred to an oral surgeon which all happened within a week of each other. I just want to let people know how nice everyone in the office is, they do an excellent job when dealing with people like me who have a lot of dental issues. The first thing I said to my family and friends, was how nice everyone is, how they make you feel comfortable and I kept repeating this to everyone "They are so nice" I told my co-worker who referred me and she said yes I know. After having the work done on Tuesday, by the oral surgeon, I came back to the Lifesmiles Office in Bloomington the next day for any adjustments that needed to be made. I am very pleased with the work that was done. I can smile a lot more now and I am doing that as I write. I am telling any and everyone that I know to go to the Lifesmiles Family Dentistry Office in Bloomington, MN. I thank you for the job you have done and I will be a patient for LIFE! EVERYONE IN THAT OFFICE IS GREAT, GREAT DENTIST AND GREAT STAFF, no bad experiences for me at all! :)

(IN RESPONSE BELOW - dont lie please, 1) high noble crown must contain at least 60% of noble metals, while yours had only 15% which is regular crown; 2) we went to another dentist before, they told the cavity was not big, but their office was too far so we went to you. You ONLY told us about 3 surface when we got the bill. ) MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: I dont know how to trust this clinic. I came there because of the number of good reviews. And from my whole family experience during a year , their goal is not to help you but to make as much money on you as possible by selling and charging you for what you need and what you dont need. 1st I wanted to replace my crown. They told me their crowns were high noble, but when I asked them for the list of ingredients, it appeared it was just regular metal-ceramic crown while they wanted to charge me for high noble! Then, I got a filling for a tiny beginning of cavity after which I was charged for 3 surface filling!! Then, my husband went there, he brought x-rays from different dental office, and later, they tried to bill him for those x-rays!! Finally, recently, I went there with my daughter for the exam and replacing the mercury filling which was not more than 1,5 surface.. and they sent us bill for 3 surface filling! They see clients not more than business. It is scary when you trust the doctor and they take advantage of it by selling you things you dont need and charging you for more than what they do.

I found Dr. Gawlik online just over a year ago when I moved to Bloomington. He got good reviews so I went. IM SO HAPPY I checked these google reviews. I live in Saint Paul now and just made the commute for my cleaning this morning. The entire staff is nice, and theyre so flexible. Dr. Gawlik is friendly, and my dental hygienist (Brandy, I think) is nice. Ive never enjoyed going to the dentist, but I really dont mind it now. Im getting married in January, and since I never used my "new customer free teeth whitening" thing, theyre giving me free whitening stuff now. Theyre also flexible on fillings. I didnt get all of mine filled last year because money was tight, and they didnt pressure me. Now, money is still tight but Im getting those last cavities filled. As far as the negative reviews go, all I can say is that Ive had a positive experience, as many customers have. Ive never heard or seen any sort of disrespect or anything other than professional, kind, "Minnesotan," service.

I was looking for a conveniently located dental practice and contacted Lifesmiles. My initial call was answered promptly and I was able to book an appointment that worked for my schedule. When I entered the office I was greeted immediately and the hygienist brought me back to the exam room within ONE minute (no wasting time reading magazines)! My cleaning was done gently and thoroughly. When the cleaning was complete Dr. Gawlik introduced himself then examined my mouth, gums and teeth. He asked questions, carefully listened to my answers then explained how he suggested addressing the dental work. I was provided with a printed description (including insurance codes) and fees for the proposed work. From start to finish my experience with Dr. Gawlik and Lifesmiles Family Dentisty exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Dr. Gawlik and would rate him as a 10 star professional.

It had been a few years since I had been to the dentist. I was new in town, and I had always went to the same dentist since I was about 8 years old to 22 years old. I was nervous about going to a new place. I had talked to Julie on the phone a few times about appointment times that worked for my schedule and getting my old records transferred. She was very helpful and called me the next day to let me know there was an opening for an earlier date that worked with my schedule. The minute I walked in I felt so welcome! All of the staff was so nice! Cheryl I believe was the dental hygienist that I was with and she was also very friendly, always kept me informed on what she was doing, or going to do next and answered all of my questions. .Dr. Gawlik was also very friendly and helped the transition to this new facility an excellent one! I would recommend Lifesmiles to anyone.

Ive been going to Lifesmiles for nearly two years now. Its been a revolution in my dental care. I used to get dental care through one of the larger chains where the dentist treated me like a bunch of bones rather than a human being. At Lifesmiles, I am recognized by name immediately by the receptionist and all of the staff. There is a genuine personal interest and concern and a real attention to detail and quality. I wouldnt describe my visits as fun exactly, but I would say that I am never fearful that it will hurt or concerned about quality. Dr. Gawlik follows up with a personal phone call after a procedure to ensure that things are going well. Dr Gawlik and his staff feel like partners with me in improving my dental health. For the first time I feel a though I can smile and laugh and show my teeth. Thats not just a change in dental care, thats a life change!

Dr Gawlik and his staff are TOP NOTCH! I have been going to this dentist for years and recommending friends, family, and co-workers left and right to go. Everyone at this office is SO FRIENDLY. From the minute you walk in - you are greeted by name, the waiting room has a warm fireplace, cool fish tank, and wonderful children area for waiting...and then the staff you work with as you are getting examined are just so professional and friendly. Sandy is my favorite Hygienist - couldnt ask for a more kind gal. And Dr Gawlik is great - always doing a more in depth medical check for oral and mouth cancer that I had not previously experienced - glad someone is looking out for me in that department! I never have any problems with scheduling or re-scheduling and everyone I have sent there has been more than happy upon return. Definitely recommend this crew!
