My daughter, 5, had a visible cavity, and appletree was able to get her in first, so thats where I went. She ended up getting 6 fillings. (bottle rot, im not proud of it) Dr. Lu was her dentist. The initial checkup was dec 4, she went in two separate times for the fillings, once in dec and once in Jan. In March, I noticed that one of the fillings was gone, and my little girl was in pain again. They agreed to replace the filling for free since it had just been done, but put us on a list and it took 6 weeks to be seen again. When we went in, they said that the tooth had become severely infected and it had to be pulled. They set up an apointment for another 2 weeks out. In the meantime, I just got home from a second dentist who said that three of the fillings were gone, and she needs to be seem by a specialist childrens dentist because shes so young and should have been seen there in the first place. Im more than a little upset. I understand that this clinic deals with a lot of low income and government assistance clients, but thats no reason to treat anyone like this. Im not sure if a dental office will give refunds for shoddy work, but they should. Now I have to pay for all of the dental work to be redone, and my little girl has to go through all of it again. No 5 year old should hate a dentist as much as she does!

This has got to be the worst Dental office I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I have never heard of someone being so unbelievably rude to a patient. The Dentist, Kristy (I believe was her name) was beyond rude to my boyfriend and flat out refused to complete any work on him, even with a complete filling missing because they did a half-ass job on it when they placed it in 6 months ago. She did not explain to him why she would not do the work and she talked to him with such a rude attitude. I am disgusted. He is now being forced to wait two weeks in order to be seen again to have this issue resolved. I will never recommend this office to anyone as long as they have a woman like that (Kristy) working for their company. If i could rate with Zero stars, I would. Advice to anyone, find a different Dental Office.

Prior to making an app w this clinic I asked about sedation methods, was told laughing gas is used and is enough most of the time. When I brought in my 4 year old, no laughing gas was used and it was a horror scene. Basically, they did not use laughing gas as I requested because she seemed " ok", but when they started to work on the tooth she was not ok with that at all. I had to hold her down, and she was in a fight or flight response. The job was ended by my request, it was sealed just to seal it. I was very displeased that they went against my desire of sedation method, if I would have known this I would have gotten a referral for a partial or complete sedation. Yes, there are risks to that but at least the job would be done in one go and the child does not get traumatized.

I was told about this dental clinic through my in-laws after a bad experience from a previous clinic. Im not sure why there are so many low ratings; This place is WONDERFUL! The receptionists are kind, and even call 2 days ahead to remind you of an appointment that you have. The dental assistants and the dental doctors are wonderful, they make sure they do their job right while making sure you are okay. I already went in for 2 cleanings, a filling and wisdom teeth extractions. The extraction date was a bit far off, but its only because they were previously booked. Great service & great clinic.

i ingested the prescribed narcotic oral sedative on time and arrived on time. The dentist knew the narcotics peak time but he was delayed and let me sit in the waiting room 20 minutes past the appointment time. in the waiting room a patient addressed me about the decoration on my wheel chair and I awakened. the dentist hardly attempted to put the equipment in my mouth and didnt bother to try a smaller tray. had i been seen on time and the dentist prepared, 50miles on the house vehicle would might not have gone down the sink drain for an aborted appointment

My wife waited over 45 min to be seen, then offered to reschedule because she knew that they closed at 5 and the work that had to be done would exceed that. They said no it was fine, well after they capped one tooth and had her all numb, said that they would feel more comfortable rescheduling to complete their work. Well of coarse I received a call from her balling here eyes out because she hates needles as it is. I call and talk to reception and she got me nowhere. Never again!

Since Jeannie left.. Claire is,the Dental Hygienist. She never used fluoride or that gritty stuff. She barely flossed. And Im reporting this to The Mn.Dental Associated. She spent four minutes on my cleaning. She told me I have healthy gums. Two months later Im told I have PERIDONTAL DISEASE. She said I had no signs of Gingavitis..but it doesnt surprise me..in 2008 I went in with a tooth ache and Dr Jenny Nguyen pulled all.. ALL 15 UPPER TEETH. #ptsd

Worst dental clinic I was ever involved in. Ended up losing every tooth they worked on. Had so many x-rays I am still afraid. My new clinic did one x-ray and all work, restoration is now complete, no pain at all. At appletree when I said the drill was painful the dentist said " bare down, I am not wasting anymore novacain", I never went back. Barbarians!!

i have had excellent care in the past.I hope I will continue too.The one person who said something about receptionist was very true.I talked to one who treated me like a 3rd world county maybe would I understand if the Dr hire someone sort of mean they might not get ripped off on a payment but I dont like to be treated badly

Theyre not the friendliest dentist Ive been to. I had a root canal performed there by Dr. Lu and ended up having to have it redone. Wouldnt recommend!!!!!!!
