Dr. Rich and staff at Countryside Animal Hospital are Amazing! The pricing is very reasonable and they dont push any unnecessary medications or multiple test/ procedures as other vets do. Dr. Rich and staff are also very knowledgeable and friendly, they handled my dog with great care (even though she was very anxious and excited) Dr. Rich sat right on the floor and played with my dog and got her to calm right down! They took the time to get to know my dog and to answer any of my questions or concerns. Awesome service, great cost, friendly people, and great care for your pets!! I have also recently boarded my dog at their kennel, it was my dogs first time away from home. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, they made her feel at home and took very good care of her. The staff are always very friendly and helpful at both the clinic and the kennels. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

My experience with Countryside Animal Hospital has been very positive overall. The service and attention that my dog has received were excellent when he received his initial exam, shots and neuter. However, recently I took him in for shots and an annual exam. The vet just looked at him and told me that he was slightly overweight. There was no real exam that I could observe and I was charged $44.00 for an exam in addition to charges for the shots. Secondly, my dog recently tried to swallow a metal object on a weekend and I had to have him examined. There is no weekend service at Countryside and no one on call that you can even talk to on a weekend. I had to take him to the emergency vet on Apple Valley. If the problem had been more serious, I wonder if the dog would have made it. Im now considering looking for another vet.

Dr. Rich and the staff at Countryside Animal Hospital are fantastic! Weve been bringing our family dogs to Countryside for over 15 years. The pricing is incredibly reasonable and they dont push unnecessary medications or multiple tests/procedures as other vets tend to do. The Countryside vets and staff are also very knowledgeable, friendly, and great with the dogs (even when weve had very anxious or stressed dogs). I do not live in Minnesota anymore, although my parents still bring their dogs to Countryside, but I wish I had a vet like Dr. Rich and his staff where I am now! Great service, great cost, great people, and great care for your pets and furry family members!

Countryside is a great place, staffed with knowledgeable, professional, and happy people. Dr. Lorang and his staff are fast to respond with timely, professional and accurate medical help, all while being compassionate to both patient and owner. I emailed a question and was shocked to hear back from the Dr. himself!!! Dr. Rich performed surgery on my Yorkie for luxating patella and she came out splendidly!!! The entire staff took very good care of her and even provided text/pic message updates during surgery and recovery!!! Now thats customer/patient care! My Yorkies and I love this place!!! Thank you Countryside!!!

Countryside Animal hospital has consistently provided excellent care and service for our pets through the years. At this last visit our curious cat needed surgery for a swallowed object and was to be discharged the same day. But Rich decided after checking him over that it would be a good idea to keep him overnight at no charge just to monitor, which was another example of the great customer service weve always received. The follow-up calls were also much appreciated. I would highly recommend Countryside to anyone needing quality vet care, caring staff, and good value.

I have been a client of Dr. Rich for many years. I started out with him at a different clinic. I knew he was the right one for my pets when he took a very naughty minpin I had and got right in his face! That sassy little boy backed right down! My experiences over the years with Dr Rich and his staff have been nothing but amazing. Very careing, concerned and accomidating! I love that I can call and give them my name and they talk to me like an old friend! (whether they remember me or not lol!) They have helped me through many a tough time.

We LOVE Countryside Animal Hospital! The staff is amazing - super nice and very helpful! They go above and beyond the call of duty for sure. I once called after hours when our 12 week old pup was puking all day and one of the vets called me back and spent about 15-20 minutes on the phone with me try to work through what might be going on. We have been super impressed with the service and care and will continue to bring our dog there fore many years to come :o)

We have been bringing our cats to Countryside for about the past 6 years and the care has always been excellent. We had a very negative experience at our previous clinic, Cannon Valley, so when it became time to choose a new clinic we chose Countryside because our friends recommended them. The clinic has a peaceful atmosphere and smells fresh and clean. The vets and vet techs are very skilled, ethical and personable which are all big pluses in my book.

This staff was amazing and very compassionate. This was my first visit to see Dr. Lorang for my very sick chameleon. Its never easy to make a decision in a situation where your pet may have to be euthanized, however, his honesty and willingness to help and offer advice was truly outstanding. He and his staff made this very difficult situation a little easier to handle. Thank you to them.

I have gone with my Grandmother a few times and every time they get us in quickly and are always informative. They have worked with our schedule to get them in too. The two dogs she has are not afraid to go, so you know there experience was good. We have two Chiwawas named Sarah and Annie, and they always refer to them by name. We will keep going to them for the care of her dogs.

This was the first time I took my cat to the vet and I was very pleased how I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. The staff was very friendly, the vet was knowledgeable, and the building was very clean which gave it a welcoming atmosphere. I thought the price was reasonable but since this was my first vet visit I dont have anything to compare it to.

I have had to take my cat to Countryside on two occasions. Outstanding care provided!!! The staff are the best!!! I believe they genuinely love and care deeply about the animals that they care for. I feel that this is not a job for these wonderful people but, rather it is a heartfelt vocation. I recommend Countryside to everyone!!!

Love, love, love Countryside Animal Hospital! I began taking my dog Gizzie there when I lived in the area and they take such great care of her that although I have since moved to St. Paul I continue to make the drive. The prices are great, staff is awesome, and they always are willing to help me over the phone if they can.

Weve been bringing our YorkiPoo TeddyBear Shitzhu, Kaija, since she was a baby. She gets great care, shes growing up healthy and when weve had concerns theyve always been addressed quickly and thoroughly, like when she gobbled down a chicken leg bone and we were panicking. Thanks for always being there for us!
