I went to wood park dental a few weeks ago for a CT Scan of my teeth. The copy of the ct scan that they handed me was not able to be read by my Dr. I asked for a readable scan to be resent out to my Dr. Wood Parks reply was "THEY NEEDED ANOTHER $69 FEE TO DO THIS" I already paid $137 for the CT procedure. So why would I have to pay $69 for something i already paid for? Just a fyi........................... Really bad bedside manners.... Good Luck!!! Wow the owner sent me a response!!!! I needed a readable copy sent to my Dr. You did not deliver that. I requested a copy of the CT scan sent to Mayo Clinic.... You said no problem all I need is $69 ... I guess you fail to understand my frustration!!!!!! I paid you already for the scan. Why would you hold your patient hostage for $69.... I called Mayo plus my Dentist and my local Dr. They all stated..." There is no charge for transferring patient records to other Drs"..... So why do you charge $69 to transfer records? I would guess your patients have a right to understand your policy. Dont you think? Sincerely, Very Frustrated Patient......

Theres a review from a Joe Taylor that indicated that he recommended getting a second opinion if your told you need a crown at Wood Park Dental.....he rated their service as one star. I really dont understand Mr. Taylors comment and rating.....Im sure Dr. Skare would be in favor of a patient getting a second opinion if the patient wanted that confirmation. I just had my second crown in the last two years....after seeing the pictures of the teeth to be crown, there wasnt any question in my mine that some action was needed before the tooth turned into a painful confirmation. Perhaps Mr. Skare should have simply discussed his concern with his insurance company as to Dr. Skares "opinion" or not take any action. Ive had various dental services over 60+ years.....the service Ive received at Wood Park Dental is truly five star care. John R. Murray

I can not say enough positive things about my experience at Wood Park Dental, whether it be the genuine smiles and can-do attitudes of Megan and Devra at the front desk, or Michelles lighthearted conversation during a routine cleaning I feel right at home. Dr. Skare is an amazing dentist and he takes such pride in not only the cleanliness and appearance of his office, (which by the way is stunning) but also in the care he delivers to his patients. I am someone who suffers from dental phobia but he makes sure I am comfortable and dont ever feel a thing!! I would without any hesitation refer even my closest friends to Wood Park Dental. Thanks for everything!!

I love Wood Park Dental and consistently recommend them to my friends and family. Everyone I meet there is patient, kind, and genuinely interested in me and my health. I never have to wait long when arriving for an appointment. Originally, I selected this office because they have the capability to create crowns in house (which means no temporary crowns!), they practice sedation dentistry and because there website made me feel they would not judge me for my bad teeth history. Since going to this office, I have had four visits with no problems (though I am pretty sure that has more to do with my new Sonicare toothbrush)!

This is an excellent practice. . All are cheerful, caring and have a "can do" attitude. The facilities have state-of-the-art equipment thats effectively used to treat the patient. My opinion is based not only on my experiences as well as my wifes but includes my 90 year old mother-in-laws care (and you cant have a more discerning person than her). One morning, I arrived early for the first appoint of the day and I saw that Dr. Skare had an all-hands standup meeting to discuss the day in an informal but business-like and inclusive manner. It sets the tone for the day. I cant recommend this practice more highly.

Ive had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Jon Skares for over 25 years, and have always had great service from him and his staff. Everyone at the office is very personable, and treats you like family. Wood Park Dentals office is very modern and up-to-date technologically, and gives you a very professional feel while youre there. Dr. Skare also uses both e-mail and texting to remind you of your appointments if you choose to be notified that way. Id highly recommend this practice for your personal or family dental needs. One happy customer, really!

Great visit as always. The staff is friendly and always make me feel comfortable, cleaning went well and quickly.. Dr. Skare is great at explaining issues (I have two buckle fractures that we have been monitoring) and offering options on how to move forward with them. I love that he talks things through with me as a patient and lets me drive the treatment options after he gives his recommendations. I feel completely at ease with him. I highly recommend this Dentist.

Wood Park Dental is a very professional dental office with a great staff. I trust Dr Skare with his professional opinions and truly believe he has my best interest in mind. He never pressures me into unneccesary procedures and just lays out the facts. His office has the latest technology and works with my insurance for a hasle free experience. The crown procedure was quick and painless and complete with a single office visit. There is nothing scarry about Dr Skare!

The best, I had bad really bad teeth both top and bottom and have for years struggled with this. Dr Skare told me he could give me a great smile and he replaced/fixed all of my teeth. He did this working to my busy work schedule and my teeth look fantastic I smile showing them for the first time. I walked in later Monday afternoon to see if I could get an appointment to have a filling replaced. I was happy to hear there were choices for the following day and made an appointment. I got in immediately on Tuesday and 40 min later was on my way. No pain, friendly staff. I have been seeing Dr. Skare for several years and only have good things to say about his staff, care and office procedures.

Dr. Skare and his assistants were very friendly and gentle with our two year old. She loved the taste of the toothpaste! They explained every step to HER, instead of talking through mom (me). It made her feel special and like a "big girl." With a sticker and new princess tooth brush, she proudly walked out with a shiny smile. Thank you to the "tooth doctors!" I really had one of the most pleasant, painless processes in a dentist visit ever. Dr. Skare was so kind, gentle, pleasant, and cared about how I wanted my teeth to look and strove and succeeded in doing so. The staff extremely bright and friendly. Also, appreciated the cash discount as dental work is difficult for me to put the money together to have done, since I am on a fixed income.
