I have never had a good experience there. My parents had problems there and now i have. A disk shifted in our cats leg they took x rays charged me $400 and said something was wrong with his joint and hed either need surgury or to be put down. The next day we brought him back and complained and a different doctor looked at him and found the problem. She said it would be $60 for a splint and it ended up being $90. And the splint is way to big for a kitten! Every time ive been there it has always cost me AT LEAST $30 more then they said it would. Everytime I go there they nickle and dime you. I will never go there again and i hope nobody else ever goes there and has unnecessary tests, x-rays or opperations done to there pet or gets screwed like i did.

Called around looking for a new vet and this one was convenient and over the phone sounded reasonable. Once I got in the original estimate of $125.00 very quickly became close to $400.00. I have 2 dogs one needed a Rabies shot and one needed distemper with both of those shots and the exams price was quoted 150.00. Once I got in I was told they needed additional services such as heart worm flea and tick medication and some ear drop. I agreed to all of the above and was not approached about the price so I figured the charges would be nominal but in fact added almost $250.00 to the total. This isnt my first experience with a vet and their staff was nice but I feel dramatically overpriced

Besides having to get my dog shots at which she already had. The GROOMER CUT 1/2 inch off my DOGS TAIL!! Her actual tail and NEVER bothered to tell me. I found out when I went to look at her tail and why she was constantly licking it, finding a huge scab and noticing her tail is shorter. I called them up they said "sorry about that" and that was it. Never offered any services free or cheaper and I will NEVER return there for a groom or any vet services. Worst experience ever. Ill pay 7$ more and drive 20 minutes out of my way to go back to who I like.

Barrington Oaks - specifically Dr. Kim Gallenberg, saved my bird from dying multiple times in the past several years. She took him from gasping in an ER vet oxygen tank to living many pain free years. After multiple occasions of his body becoming immune to various medications to his chronic upper respiratory infection, she looked through books of medication conversions to formulate many second chances for my bird. The staff is amazing, and I will always be grateful for the efforts of Dr. Kim. This clinic comes highly recommended!

went in this morning with my African side neck turtle and everyone there was fantastic!! the doctor quickly knew how to handle a turtle and gave him a wellness exam as well as confirming my thought that he had tapeworms. the two nurses were super helpful and even asked about him to learn things they didnt know. Ive been looking for a good exotic vet for awhile now and finally found one that knows what theyre doing and is reasonably priced!!

Amazing vet clinic, Love all of Drs - they have gone out of their way to help with my sick doodles. They have made room to see them ASAP and got them checked out and on meds. Didnt do any unnecessary tests, etc. Called to check on them after to see how they were, really appreciated that. They really care about them. So much better than my old vet office that wouldnt make time for me during my doodle emergency. Thank you Barrington Oaks

Bizot the Brave

Took urine sample from my dog with an unnecessary and expensive ultrasound procedure to confirm a bladder infection. Extra $55 cost that I was not informed of when leaving my dog there for the day. Called around other vets in the area this is a senseless charge when a sample can be taken when the dog is peeing. Also urinalysis did not include a culture for the UTI so the antibiotics are not resolving the infection.

I have had really good luck with them. My new lab has been in for his regular check ups and 1 ear infection. Having a new pup is expensive but they dont seem to be over priced. Also they are very knowledgeable and have been able to answer any questions from health to training to behavioral issues right away.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our wonderful kitty, Connor who was 14 years old. The staff was so sensitive and supportive to me having to make such a difficult decision. We have brought all of our pets here at least 10 years now and will not go anywhere else. Thank you.
