This was my first time (with the exception of my appointment a month earlier to get a cleaning) at this dentist and I came in to get all of my wisdom teeth pulled. I showed up for my 8 am appointment a few minutes early and the receptionist says, "Oh I was wondering if you were going to come." I said "Um, I called and confirmed it like I was asked." I was unaware that I needed to come in early and take muscle relaxers (it takes an hour for them to kick in) so I took them as soon as I got there. As I was waiting in the waiting room for them to call my name, I saw the dentist storm in the office (late) wearing a jacket that says "Team Kemel". A few minutes later they call my name and we finally got started. He seemed like he was in a bad mood because I was expressing my fears about anesthetics and he says, "We didnt talk about putting you under. You have already done a couple things wrong. You didnt take your muscle relaxers so they wont have as much affect."We are going to numb your mouth but that is it." They way he said it was so rude! He started by putting Novocain in my mouth and then filled a cavity. Then he started with one wisdom tooth and would disappear for a while and come back to do another tooth, then disappear and did that throughout the whole thing. While he would disappear, the hygienist would stay and talk to me. I asked him if any of my teeth are giving him trouble coming out and he says, "Doesnt seem like they are giving me trouble?" Very sarcastic! By the time I left, the muscle relaxers started kicking in and I was pretty loopy. When I was done, they rushed me to the front desk where they threw me 3 prescriptions to get filled (pain pill, an anti-bacterial, and an inflammatory) and started explaining what they were. I was so out of it that I just asked them to stop explaining at write it down so I can look it at it when my mind is more clear. And I wasnt given anything to clean my mouth with like other people have gotten from other dentists and I wasnt given a guide of what to expect and how long healing time will be. And the cherry on top is when it came to payment. Before asking me what my insurance plan was or looking into my plan, the receptionist was trying to charge me 20% of what the procedure would cost (just under $300). I told her my plan covers everything 100%. I told her my union and she says, "Oh, yeah, they have great benefits. Its normally an 80-20 rule, meaning I pay 20% and teamsters pays 80%" So...before checking you were going to try and take my money?! Only go to this dentist if you want to be talked down to and treated like an inconvenience.

Being 67 years old and raising a family of 7, I have had many experiences with Dentists, Orthodontists, Oral Surgeons, etc. and now I can honestly boast that I have finally experienced the " best of the best" !! From the moment I walked into his IGH office and met his most courteous, knowledgeable and most of all, "caring" staff of professionals, I was at ease and knew I was in the best of hands! Then, I met Dr. Kamel and his highly skilled dental assistant and after putting him through my own battery of questions, I immediately knew that I had finally found the "gold-standard" of Dental Arts!!! Yes, "Arts"! Dr. Kamel is an artist. He not only has a vast knowledge of dentistry but his attentiveness to the patients requests, his explanation, diagnosis, treatment, and the final result that a patient should expect was "spot-on"!! Dr. Kamel is gentle and thorough. Cleanliness of the state of the art equipment, personal hygiene and comfort is unmatched! It is evident that he and his staff are very passionate about their work and continues with that same passion toward his patients to assure their health and satisfaction. Truly, I cannot express enough gratitude. Thank you and God Bless you and your staff for the great service. You are an exemplary asset to the entire dental profession. I tell it like it is. Im too old to do anything else. Now, I refer him to many others as the Leonardo Da Vinci of dentistry!

One of the nicest hygienists! Really great with kids! My only concern was that they did a filling and Im not sure if it sealed correctly or what the issue is but all of a sudden I went from having normal teeth to an extremely sensitive tooth- so bad it literally hurts to eat on it/floss near it/ drink any water too warm or too cold.. Ive never had teeth issues! I went in an explained to a dentist that I was having these- she said she would have to charge me if I decided I wanted to get a root canal (which I asked if that might be the right decision for the amount of pain my tooth was causing me) and said she likely wont be able to do anything for my tooth! I literally started bawling in the chair- and yes I was embarrassed- but my tooth was excruciating. Finally she relented and said she could take a deeper look- so I made my appt to get it fixed- the dental assistant was in my opinion extremely rude (as if I inconvenienced them) and now because of the filling I am not able to properly floss around that tooth- the crevice between my teeth in the area have been filled with the cement-- and yet to this day my tooth is still in excruciating pain- so I have made an appointment to go to another clinic to get it checked! This was kind of bologna- Im not a dentist- so I dont know how this stufff works but Ive never had issues with my other dentist prior.. I wish he hadnt retired

Fantastic experience! Dr. Marko and his team provide outstanding dental services. My last dentist messed up my crown and he was able to do gentleness and care. The dental team on Minnesota Dental Arts listens and take the time to make sure you understand what you need/why you need it. They explain the procedures and the technology they used. Overall they made me feel comfortable and made my smile shine. I highly recommend Minnesota Dental Arts to anyone, anywhere in the area. They are worth it!

Called to reschedule an appointment. Receptionist was very very rude. Rescheduled saying " i will count on you keeping this appointment." Called back to explain my work schedule was hectic, and didnt appreciate her being rude. She hung up on me. Called back asked to speak with supervisor who appently wasnt in and didnt have a phone number. Loss of words for the lack of horrible customer service.

Its pretty hard to put in words how hard my dad worked to establish MDA. He spent countless nights figuring out the businessy stuff which made him have some pretty bad headaches, but fortunately, my mom studied about how to treat headaches. But in the end, all his work paid off, because it helped make an amazing clinic.

Seriously the worst service Ive ever had. i couldnt floss in between the work they did and i lost part of the filling right away. when i told them what was wrong they wouldnt even fix the problem at my convenience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I dont even understand how they can run there business
