The location is actually off of Bunker Blvd and St. Francis Blvd. That picture is wrong. Im glad I switched to RAH not only because of their convenience in location but also their rates for vaccines are fair. Im glad they keep them so low and I reward them by encouraging others to go there so they can keep those prices low. I know clinics around the area who more than DOUBLE some prices. Yes, price isnt everything in a clinic and I understand that. The staff was very welcoming to my dog and I when we joined. In addition, when I was attending a vet tech school one of the assignments was to call around asking questions and to shadow three of them. I called at a busy hour and even though RAH couldnt allow anymore students to shadow since they were booked, whomever answered the phone that day was the kindest, most enjoyable veterinary staff member I have ever spoken to! She gave me tips and leads to other clinics that might be open that are often overlooked, AND a lead to PineRidge Pet Care Animal Hospital. PineRidge is the most sought after clinic to shadow for vet tech students around here besides the U of M so its very tough to get into, but she told me to tell them she suggested it in hopes theyd still allow me to come shadow. That little move, tiny as it sounds, really helped me :) And the other clinics I called couldnt even compare to that kind of generosity in actually caring. That simple little act of effort is what made me want to be a client and make my dog one of their patients. I am sure you will be pleased with the care and pure friendliness Ramsey Animal Hospital will provide you and your pets with as well!

What a terrible experience! The guy I saw was an absolute jerk! I took my Dog in due to extreme diarrhea and vomiting. He is older and a small dog so I wasnt sure if he just had an infection or needed to be put down. I ended up with an older man and from the reviews it sounds like I got this Dr. Silverman. He spent literally 10 seconds with my dog and in that time he lifted his lips and said "your teeth are rotten" then asked how long it was going on for and left the room for a good 5 minutes or so. Came back and said "So what do you want me to do with this one? He doesnt look that sick." I was SPEECHLESS!!! I was there to find out what I should do and youre asking ME what to do?! After basically saying that to him he left for another 5 minutes or so and came back with some food to see if my dog would eat. When he wouldnt eat and my dog had diarrhea in the clinic he basically told me theres nothing wrong with him but gave me an antibiotic for him to try anyway. My dog also had an open sore on his nose and before we left I asked what to do about that and his response "Oh I didnt notice that." Well no sht, you didnt even examine him!!! The only good thing about the $61 I paid for this visit was that the antibiotics actually seem to be working. Even the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and very irritated that she had to go out of her way to make me a copy of my dogs record.

I started taking my Annie (golden retriever) a couple years ago. I had just moved back to the cities, and I was looking for a vet for hear. I called around and when I talked to this place I was very pleased to hear that they care about animals so much that if you have a concern about something with your pet they would do a quick exam for free. And for 2 years they held true to that. Especially being because Im low income and my dog is trained to respond to my seizures. Annie developed a couple of abnormal growths on her. When I brought her in for her nails the vet checked them bumps and said that one felt like breast cancer. And the other one on her foot was a minor issue that could be taken care of easily. Since Annie is not showing any signs of ailment from what they believe is breast cancer I would wait a bit on that and others told me that they usually grow back. But the thing on her foot got very large and that is causing her discomfort. I thought I would have that checked again and find out how much it would be just to remove that. All of a sudden they said that they only give free exams with shots. I argued that I had brought her in to have her nails clipped and they always do a general exam. She said that was not true. So I guess my mother, daughter and me must have imagined them times.

This is a wonderful place. If you want the frills and high bills, then go somewhere else. At this vet you will get fantastic service and prices you can actually afford. We have three dogs so money is an issue. The vets are great with the dogs. One of the dogs got a huge lump over his head. I called and they got me in that day. We recieved excellent service. They even called the next day to see how he was doing. The bump went down, but then flaired again. I called and went in that day. Both vets examined him. He recovered quickly. They were compassionate and understanding. They kept at the problem until it was resolved. Its a place were they really care, but the building is older and again, it has no frills. I would rather pay for service and care then an expensive waiting room that I paid for!

To be honest I have been taking our animals to this vet for a long time. I like 2 veterinarians that work there. There is a gentleman, older veterinarian, that makes me feel like every time I take my animals to him, he makes me feel I am bothering him. Our last visit he was really rude. The main reason why we were there is because my dog was missing for 6 days, lost 15 pounds and we needed to know if she was ok. I had a feeling I was worrying about nothing and just need to get some weight on her. But I wanted to double check with a vet to make sure. I would rather pay the higher prices for better service and someone that can act like they care at least.

We brought our older dog in she was on the last day of her life we ended up putting her down. She suffered from seizures loss of functions and antisocial. Rewind 2 years we brought her in for a check up and told Dr. S about her seizures he proceeded to tell us he needs to do tests and would cost "x" amount of money. On the day we put her down he offered up the medicine without even really checking her out. I feel as though he figured if a pet went down here wouldnt have our annual check up visit income. We will never bring our animals to him again.

Wonderful place, they have the best prices out of all of them. Not to mention ALL of their vets are very knowledgeable, they give an exam with all shots and most of all they care! We put down our family dog a few years ago as hard as it was they comforted us and made us feel at ease with our decision. We've been going there for 10 plus years now and have referred over several of our friends and family members, because in my eyes they're the best and they'll keep my business for many more years to come.
