My husband and I recently moved to the Bloomington area and after reading such positive reviews about France Avenue Pet Hospital, we decided this was the kind of place we wanted to take our two cats and gave them a try. I have to say, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, our cats took to the staff and Doctor right away! We also had a hard time finding a new groomer, as we used to have our old vet sedate them so that it would be a less stressful event for them. On my most recent visit, one of the staff members mentioned that they had a new employee that did grooming and that the doctor would be willing to be available to sedate the cats! (When we first asked about this they didnt have anyone with grooming experience) They had to get back to us on the price, but they did so promptly and for grooming and sedation it will be cheaper (not to mention better/less stressful for the cats) than any other place, even Petsmart!! I highly recommend this pet hospital to ANYONE!!!

I came home for lunch to find the right eye of my 3 year old border collie had crusted shut. His pink eye had clearly worsened. I called over to the clinic and cheerful Dr. Jessica answered. After explaining the situation to her, she gave me a very reasonable price estimate for an eye exam and medication. She happened to have an immediate opening and treated Barley all within my lunch hour. The last vet I went to stuck a thermometer up Barleys butt at hello. Dr. Jessica was much more respectful. She educated me on how pink eye occurs and how to avoid it in the future. There was not doom and gloom, she never tried to up-sell. Her office was very clean and the other staff very friendly. The entire experience was a perfect 5/7. I would recommend you go here!

Looks arent always everything! When I first pulled in, I wasnt exactly thrilled by the appearance of the place, and it is small. However, the staff have always been incredibly nice! Jessica is our vet is shes so bubbly and friendly and our puppy just loves her. I feel that they are very reasonably priced for their services as well ($150 for a rabies, lymes, and distemper vaccine which includes three other items in that one vaccine), which is really nice since you can tell they arent just interested in your wallet. They also do provide boarding as well if thats something youre interested in. Our puppy is happy to go to the vet and is still happy to be there even after getting shots, so I think that says something!

This vet is incredible. I have a pretty difficult cat (medically) and the doctor and staff have always gone above and beyond what I would have expected. I always have a lot of question and whenever I leave after a visit, I feel very informed and stress free! I always get a check up call to see how my cat is doing and it shows how much they care. The prices are very reasonable. Honestly, I would pay a lot more for their services because they really are fantastic!

France Avenue Pet Hospital has a very small town feel too it, and coming from a small town I absolutely love it. The staff here are amazing and truly care about the animals that come through their door. My girl cat Bella-who is very picky with people and rarely lets just anyone pet her-absolutely loves Dr. Jessica-she goes right up to her and starts purring. Such a great place to take your pets. I would not bring our cats anywhere else.

Best Vet Clinic EVER!!!!! Dr Jessica and the rest of the staff are SUPER GREAT!!! It is so obvious this IS NOT your normal average every day run of the mill vet care provider! They actually TRUELY CARE about your pet! And not just a ring up the till profit minded outfit! Love this place so much! My cats will NEVER be seen by anyplace other then France Ave. Pet Hospital.....

My cat Bella absolutely LOVES Dr. Jessica-anytime I bring her in she comes right out of her kennel, meows, and goes right to Dr.Jessica. Bella rarely does this with anyone but myself. This vet hospital has a very small town feel, which I love, coming from a small town myself. The rest of the staff is super friendly. Very glad I found this place for my 3 little kitties.

This place is awesome. Took my rag doll Willie there for kidney failure and Dr. Jessica was excellent at figuring out A plan for Willie. Its been 3 months and Willie is doing excellent. The whole staff is very caring and friendly
