I will say I feel vary fortunate that Savage Tower Animal Hospital is in our neighborhood. We literally chose them because we had just moved from Texas and needed some shots updated for our two Golden Retrievers, and theyre closest. Its been an amazing experience so far. On one of our first visits it was noticed that one of our Goldens has behavioral issues. (Something I had noticed, but had no idea what to do about it.) While behavioral issues are not necessarily a strong point for vets, it was recognized right away and we were even recommended to go to the U of M for further help. It took us a while to get there, but we finally did and its lead us down a road that has changed our dog, changed us and has opened up our lives to more fully understanding him. Wed lived in Texas for two years with him trying many different things to control his impulses. With out that simple recognition from the Dr., we never would have ended up down what is finally a successful path. Even now, when we come for a check up with that particular dog, they work with me to make sure we get him in and out as safely as possible. Everyone in the office knows what to do and what not to do. And thats just for one of my dogs! The other has a partially torn ACL and weve been working with them for near 2 years to monitor the knee. Were working with them at this time to determine if its best to go ahead with surgery. Dr. Soderberg has been great in making sure I have the information I need and follows up quickly. Im very pleased with the professionalism and knowledge of the Vets. Im even more please with the personal touches. They know who I am just by my dogs two names. I never have to ask for any special care for either, they just know what to do. Again, I feel blessed that we stumbled upon them! I highly recommend them!

My wife and I lived in Shakopee for 3 years and while we were there we took our dogs to Savage Tower to see Dr. Howard. We just recently moved out of the area to Anoka and are to far away to go see Dr. Howard but I wanted to take a moment to say how great of a Vet Dr. Howard is. There were countless times when they squeezed me in immediately due to something going on with one of my dogs. They would always go the extra mile and it was greatly appreciated. Dr. Howard and his staff are very kind and professional and they really do enjoy and appreciate the animals. They always seemed available to talk me thru on the phone, in person, calling in medicine etc... They were an invaluable resource! I highly doubt I will find another vet clinic that can match the standards that Dr. Howard and his team have set. Me and my dogs will miss them!

Excellent care for my aging cat. Dr. Howard and his staff are always caring and concerned, often giving me a follow up call after a visit. I am so lucky to have them close to my home.
