I have a melanoma. I called HealthPartners and asked for a referral for my dermatologist. The Como Clinic Adult Medicine triage nurse was a monster. She refused to give me a referral, kept saying medically unsound things like "one of our GPs can look at it and do a biopsy!!" WRONG. She told me I would have to go to Urgent Care to get the referral. I sat and waited for Urgent Care, for which I was forced to pay $25, and the PA was confused. She asked me why Adult Medicine didnt just give me a referral. She said the nurse was "very wrong" if she thinks that GPs are going to diagnose and biopsy melanomas. This is completely typical of Como Clinic "Death Partners." You have to fight and pay unnecessary co-pays in order to have the insurance cover necessary specialists. Dont be tempted just because its the cheapest insurance your employer offers; you get what you pay for. Ive been dealing with this for over 26 years because my husband wants the cheapest insurance. HealthPartners failed to to diagnose 6 aneurysms on his brain and he had a stroke and almost died. DO NOT go cheap; pay for decent medical care. At Como Clinic, you will have to fight the "gatekeepers" and someone may die before you are given access to the medical care you need.

The nursing staff was kind and efficient…the stars are for them alone! I went into urgent care for a Lyme test as I had a bull’s-eye rash and had the symptoms (this is my second run-in with the disease). The doctor was condescending, and basically implied that I was a hypochondriac (proved him wrong when the blood test came back and I was actually ill). Even though they knew that I was on an oral contraceptive and iron pills, they failed to mention that the antibiotics I was prescribed could interfere with the birth control or be effected by the iron. The pharmacist and Doctor had the opportunity to mention these effects but did not. Normally I would have been more assertive, but I was already made to feel so embarrassed (and let’s not forget sick) that I didn’t question the care I was given until weeks later when my symptoms didn’t improve.

My mother had an issue that needed to be taken care of right away and they were very accommodating about getting us in promptly. Ive taken her there before and like the facility and I believe it is well run. My mother wears Depends and yesterday while examining my Mom the doctor (female) referred to her undergarment as her diaper. Excuse me! It was embarrassing enough for my Mom to have that area looked at but then to humiliate her that way was inexcusable. I think some of the staff may need a little refresher about bedside manner.

Ive never written a Google review before, but I had a great experience at this clinic today. I was very ill, and still able to get an appointment, even as a new patient. The staff was amazing - so attentive and helpful. I ended up needing an IV, which they were able to take care of in the office. I left feeling so much better than I did when I got there. I will definitely be going back to this clinic in the future for all of my healthcare needs.

The Dental area is fantastic. Dr. Rahman and his nurse were awesome. I dont usually write a review unless Im really impressed. This was hands down the best and easiest dental experience I have had to date. I felt compelled to write a review because their rating isnt the greatest, but I dont understand why. I thought the clinic was wonderful, the staff was great. Dr. Rahman made me feel comfortable, calm, and informed. Give them a chance.

My appointment with Dr. Webster and his staff was very pleasing, from the Front Desk staff to the professionalism of Dr. Webster and his Nurses I felt at ease immediately. I went in because I was unsure of certain symptoms and the Doctor I saw treated me like a little kid, I asked questions about a medication I didnt know about and was just being super rude about it by saying its common sense to know about it, who else can tell me what cyclopentolate does to your eye or how long the effects last. Avoid and go somewhere else

I called to make an appointment for my baby, the guy I talked was disrespectful to me. He kept telling me that my son only have MA from the state not a health plan from Health Partner Insurance . I told him that my son already chose health partner as his health plan from MA. The HP insurance never send me a health plan card .

Their optical department does not inform the customer about what the glasses do and what their limitations are. They refuse to make the glasses right without a new exam when it says my prescription doesnt expire until 2016 and the exam - at their price - is $300. I have seldom had such a negative experience.

I love HealthPartners clinics and the Como location is no exception. Great health care professionals working there. I saw a Lactation Consultant at Como and she was amazingly helpful for me and my new baby! The only gripe I have is that parking can be difficult at this location - Must be a busy clinic.

This clinic is not interested in taking new patients. If you are reading this review, chances are you havent already established care at this clinic. Dont waste your time on hold only to have an unsatisfying interaction with a rude and condescending staff member!

The Magnificent 6
I love this place... I had all of my wisdom teeth removed and the care was awesome... I cant complain!!! I got to have my fiance with me the whole time during surgery... ♡ They provided me with everything I asked for!!! Personal is GREAT!!!

Getting eye glasses takes too long. Most other places provide them in 2 to 48 hours. They are more like a week. In todays technology, this is one thing that they could improve for better client service and satisfaction.

Went there last Sunday evening around 4-5pm for stitches above my eye. Didnt wait longer than 5 minutes or so at the Urgent Care, then I was taken care of right away. Both people who worked on me were friendly and quick.

Dont go here to urgent care if you want to get to the bottom of an issue. They have a very limited lab. You will have to wait days for results. Go to a clinic that has a fully capable lab.
