I cant say enough good things about Kemlage Family Dentistry, but Im going to give it my best shot. The first time I visited the Kemlages was on a Saturday afternoon. My former dentists office was closed and I was in a fix because a crown had come off during breakfast. They squeezed me in after a very short wait and sent me on my way in a few minutes. On my first "official" visit, Andrew Kemlage gave me the ten-cent tour of the office and showed me all the modern dentistry tools including a machine that makes crowns in an hour and a 360-degree X-ray machine that can even peer into your sinus cavities. Andrews father Thomas is much closer to my age and I suspect part of the motivation for such an investment in all the latest gee-whiz technology is to make certain everything is shipshape for that time in the future when Thomas hangs up his probes, retractors, and burs for good. That committment to the tools of the trade helps make Andrew a good dentist and Thomas an even better father. When you first enter this clean and bright office, you get the best array of magazines I have ever seen in a waiting room. Sadly, my wait time has always been too brief to read even a single article. I have six (or so) crowns, six (or so) root canals, four (or so) extractions, and two dental implants in my mouth. To say I know my way around a dentists office is an understatement. Ive met a herd of hygienists, a troop of technicians, a swarm of secretaries, a pride of periodontists, and a drove of dentists in my lifetime. As you can imagine, these have not been happy hours for me. The people who worked at the dentists offices have frequently been my lifeline. Everyone at Kemlage Family Dentistry is personable, friendly, professional and neat. A wrinkle on a uniform would die of loneliness in this office. Andrew is one of those rare people who, when youre talking to him, gives you his full and undivided attention. Lots of medical people suffer from One-Foot-Out-The-Door-Disease, but Andrew isnt one of them. He takes the time to explain everything. I may not make all the right decisions, but I have all the germane information. After two potentially painful appointments, Andrew even had the courtesty, professionalism, and just plain decency to call me at home that evening to ask how I was doing. Ive not had the pleasure of working with Andrews father Thomas, but Im sure Andrew hasnt fallen far from the tree. Imagine for a moment how much time I devoted to crafting this review and think back to the last time you were this happy with a business and the people who work there. If youre looking for a new dentist or even if youre not, please come to Kemlage Family Dentistry for a visit.

I am SO HAPPY to have found Kemlage Family Dentistry. I have horrible anxiety about dentistry, and generally avoid going to the dentist at all costs. Based on recommendations from family and the awesome reviews, I finally decided to give Kemlage a try. Guys, my only regret is that I didnt find them years ago. As soon as I walked in, Dr. Andrew and Stephanie greeted me at the front. I told them that I am terrified of dental work, and Dr. Andrew immediately put me at ease. Unlike other offices in the area, he did not make me feel ashamed of my fear, but rather related it to his own personal experiences. I cant even describe what a relief it is to feel like my concerns were normal. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Andrew was extremely thorough in his explanations of what he was doing and how I should feel. He continually checked on my pain levels and was prepared to take breaks at any point if I needed a breather. I have never met another dentist or medical professional with a better bedside/chairside manner. I needed more work than I initially expected, and Dr. Andrew was very thorough in explaining the procedure, discussing costs, and answering all of my questions. Since the worst part is the anticipation, he was willing to start the work immediately, even though it kept him at the office later than expected (sorry!). For the first time in my life I left a dental office and I am not dreading returning. I will happily be a patient of Kemlage Family Dentistry for life!

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Kemlage and his compassionate staff. My 5 year old daughter was very nervous about going to the dentist. We tried to go back in Oct, but she was too scared and started crying. Their staff tried to work with her, but with me being in the room, she used me as her escape route. I made another appointment in Dec and this time they took her by herself. The assistant came to get me after a couple minutes to try to calm her nerves, but me being in the same room only made it worse. Dr. Tom came in and started talking to her, while I made an excuse to leave the room. After a few minutes, Dr. Tom came up to the front with thumbs up! He was able to calm her nerves and the assistant was able to clean her teeth, get x-rays and Dr. Tom was then able to go back in and give her a full check up. At first, I was nervous about sending my 5 year old back to the exam room by herself, but I know the staff & Dr. Tom would never do anything she would not like. They do not restrain or sedate. They work with her to build her trust so it’s a positive experience. After her checkup, she came up to the front with a big smile on her face! Dr. Tom then went over her exam with me in full detail. After we left, she told me she likes going to the dentist now! Thank you Dr. Tom and your caring staff for helping her feel comfortable and making her checkup a positive experience!!

Never have I been so comfortable in a dentist office like I was that day! I work at Petsmart as a groomer and I was unfortunately hit in the face by a fairly large dog. Once the dog hit me,I began to spit up half of my tooth. I than picked a place to go in hopes of a dentist to not only help me regain my smile but as well as comfort me throughout the process. Cause anyone can imagine, I was not only upset but as well as scared. Now keep in mind, I have one bad phobia and its when I have to go to the dentist, even simple teeth cleaning is scary for me. So, it was this dentist office that popped up first on my navigation. Once I met the crew I instantly felt welcomed, safe and comfortable. By far the nicest, cleanest and funniest crew. Im so thankful that they took me in without hesitation. I do still have more work to be done to my tooth, and Im definitely going to come back to this office. I can strongly tell these people love what they do, and I admire their white hearts. I strongly recommend going here. I never thought I would be saying this but, I enjoyed this visit to the dentist.

I chipped my front tooth 2 days ago, as a woman, this can be VERY embarrassing. I looked for dentists to get me in right away. Dr. Andrew Kemlage had me in a chair within 30 minutes!! The staff over the phone were very nice & understanding. Everyone who worked with me were SO nice. I only had to get a cavity type filling to repair it, but he shaped it so beautifully, AND filled the gap in my front teeth that I had I acquired thru age. My tooth the Dr fixed I think is prettier than my other tooth:) He was so kind & easy going. No need to be nervous with this Dr. Hes very gentle & patient. I highly recommend him. I will be going to this office for all my dental needs from now on. I plan on taking my son who had a liver transplant recently to him as well... I trust this Drs office that much. Their hours are a bonus, open as late as 8 pm somedays! I cant say enough good things about this Dentist, his staff & office! SO happy I found them!!! Kara. K
