My reason for such a low score is in relation to how the office handles verifying if you have insurance they accept. I contact the office to confirm they accepted our Humana Dental plan. I was told they did, but called Humana Dental to confirm, which they did. The medical staff was friendly, the facility was well-kept, and their patient care was excellent. We were glad to find a new family dentist, or so we thought. I booked follow-up appointment for my children and planned to do the same for myself and my husband. I received a bill for $365, stating that my dental plan was not accepted. Even though I have contacted Seaport Family Dentistry and Humana Dental concerning this, they now claim I have to pay the full amount because my plan does not include their office. Neither company is taking any kind of ownership for giving false information, which is poor customer service. Our family is trying to be careful financially due to a job loss and we would never have booked with Seaport Family Dentistry had we been given accurate information. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Seaport Family Dentistry or Humana Dental due to sloppy business practices and lack of ownership taken for vital information given to their patients.

This is by far the best dental office Ive been to and the only one Ive trusted for over 10 years! Dr. Tinsley is very professional and my dental hygienist Kat is the best! The whole staff is super friendly and believe haft of them follow my travels on instagram. Its always nice to be treated like a rock star and be able to come to an office that knowns you. Had a cavity filling today that took 20 min from the time I got into the office till I left. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends (:

Dr. Rachel did an excellent job on my implant. A very big thank you to assistant Darla for her thoughtful attention to detail with my bleach tray/night guard, that fits well, thank you very much. She was so thoughtful for also getting a very cold me a blanket and checking in several times during the wait. Your office has all the feelings of a friendly and efficient work office. This office is amazing. I hate going to the dentist, and have for years. I finally found one that makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. The billing and front office staff are always so helpful as well. All the dentists on the staff here are great, I would highly recommend you try this office!
