I would have to go with the two star "disliked it". I wanted to go with hated it but we LOVE Dr Webb. He has great bedside manner and is good at what he does. My wife had stomach issues and was dismissed as bad diet at the student health center even though she had wonderful diet and as soon as we saw Dr Webb found the problem and he got her to see the specialist she needed. My review of this place doesnt factor him in as much because he is not accepting new patients (as I last recall) so you couldnt get him anyway, the other doctors were okay, but he is pretty awesome. Why the two stars you ask? Because I dont like the rest of the place. I wanted to schedule a TDAP shot and was transferred back and forth a few times and waited 16 minutes on the phone just to schedule an appointment. A little over a month ago I needed to have a medical person (nurse, physician, whoever) check my BMI for a health incentive I get at work. All it said was height, weight, signature. It didnt say anything about the rest of my health. I called them up and explained the situation and the receptionist was super cheery and told me no need to set up an appointment just come on in. I came in and I wish I did get an appointment because they seemed really confused; like no one has ever done that before. A nurse weighed me and took my height but then when it came to the signature she said she cant sign it. I said the reason I took time off work and came here was I needed it for work and they would need it done by a medical person... I mean what do they think... I was just too poor or lazy to buy a scale myself that I wanted to take off time from work to drive 15 minutes out of my way to have a medical person do it and that my insurance wouldnt want any proof a medical person did? To top it off after talking with the nurse a doctor came in and was very commanding about the receptionist did not say they could do it... even though he didnt know who I spoke with on the phone so he couldnt know. He was frustrating because not only was he talking about things he didnt know but also he was a doctor and I hope in all his years of medical school he would be confident enough to put his signature by my height and weight but he said I needed to schedule a time with a nurse and that would be $94 and insurance wouldnt cover a weigh in. I only got $120 for the incentive so that would be most of it. Having been on a diet going in I was very frustrated. I ended up going back to my Chiropractor and he was nice enough to put his signature down. Basically we arent huge fans of the nursing staff in general and just wish Dr Webb would move to a different practice.

I really did give this place a shot but....where do I start with my frustrations?!?! I can echo others experience from the reviews Ive read by agreeing that the first question they asked me was what insurance I had. After finding my insurance acceptable I was in the system as a patient of Dr. Webb. For my first appoinent I waited an hour to be called back and 20 more after I was in the room. Dr. Webb was quaint and thoroughly apologized for the inconvenience. The problem is, over the 4 years I have been seen at this practice, this is a common occurrence. Another time, I called in to report a racing/erratic heartbeat that had been going on for half the day. Obviously concerned, I asked if I could be seen on short notice to assuage my concern/stop me from an er visit. After being casually forwarded from one callous nurse to the next I was told they didnt have time to see me for 2 weeks and to just go to the er. Really???? Not only was this practice indifferent to my situation, but apparently they assume an er visit is routine/inexpensive. If you are looking for a practice that will go the extra mile, this is not it. If you are looking for a practice that feign to care about you, this is not it. If you would like to set up an appoinent less than 3 months down the road, this is not your practice. Health care is expensive and serious enough to be treated with care and respect. Save your time and energy and STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!

Dr. Hurlbut is by far the worst physician I have ever encountered. The first office visit, he spent at least 30 minutes bragging about how smart he is and how wonderful his grass-fed beef tastes. [Apparently he is a hobby rancher] I was a bit annoyed / disturbed but thought maybe he is just friendly and lonely. Every other visit he was extremely rude, did pretty much nothing and billed me $190.00 for his 5 minutes. He would get upset if I asked him questions. He never seemed to care about my health concerns. If I had two medical concerns, he made me decide which one he should treat as he didnt ever have time for both. He even told me that If I didnt like the way he does things I should go somewhere else. Well Dr. Hurlbut.... that is the only advice you ever gave me that I sounds competent. I took you advice. Anybody considering seeing this Dr.... please reconsider. I dont think he is a person that can be trusted.

I have attended this practice my entire life. Literally. Dr Allison was my Dr. as a kid and I have seen Dr. Webb now for close to 20 years. Have I waited a little long once or twice? Sure, but they have a sign in the waiting room that says to check back if youve waited for longer than 15 mins and its a RARE occasion and they were always apologetic and helpful. Besides, there were numerous occasions where I was called and seen before my appointed time which is great for me because I am an 8-5er and my time during the day is precious. I have dealt with other Drs and PAs when my primary was not available. Ive seen Grimes, Majerus, Hurlbut, and Webb and each of them has been great. Dr Webb has always spent a great deal of time with me. I feel like he is genuinely interested in my health and in me as a person. He is a great Dr. and a wonderful man. I would, without hesitation, eagerly recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Carraher has been my primary physician for over 20 years. He is very compassionate about his job and truly cares about his patients. After seeing him in his office, he has often called "after hours" to see how things are coming along. On one occasion, he called to sincerely apologize for overlooking some paperwork I needed completed. I could tell he felt terrible, he even apologized to my husband when he saw him shortly after. One of his nurses seems a bit rough around the edges, but, in reality she is a very kind person and a great nurse, she can draw my blood anytime. As for the front desk, I have been on hold for a long period of time, however, I have been in the office when they are very busy, so I know I am waiting for a good reason. I do not look forward to the day when Dr. Carraher retires.
