My husband went in for a extraction we were there at 12pm and did not leave till 5pm not only did they have my husband there all day the Dr. that worked on him did not no what he was doing. I choose this office due to my insurance changing and let me tell you I made a big mistake. My husband told me there equipment didnt even work water didnt come out and the drill had no pressure and every time it touched his tooth it would stop, the assistants werent even in the room when the Dr. was doing the extraction as a dental assistant myself I no u NEVER leave the Doctor alone in a Procedure. As the Dr. was chizzeling at my husbands tooth his instrument slipt and took out a big chunk of his Gum (Gingiva) it should have been stiched but instead they did nothing. I got a text from my husband around 4:30pm Saying we well never come back here and our kids will never come here.So I came inside to check on him so I asked the Front desk through the glass she didnt even open what is going on and why has my Husband been here for 4hrs this is crazy, she said let me check he will be rigth out 45mins later he walks out with Blood all on his right side of his mouth really I wanted to go off on them so bad but he was in so much pain that he said please just take me home. They hurt him so bad it has been 4days since this has happen and my Husband is still in alot of pain he has to take 2 lortabs and is still in pain mind you he doesnt even take pills but his vitamins. Plus he has part of a bone of a piece of his tooth they left in there sticking out of his gums (Gingiva) that is stabbing him in his tounge he cant even eat. Let me just say as a Dental Assistant myself we would never let a patient walk out with Blood on there face. Our patients were never there that long and after a extraction procedure in so much pain like my husband is. I will never send or refer anyone to Abbey Dental I have already changed Dental Offices and I wanted to share this with everyone casue I would Hate to have something like this happen to anyone else. The WORST experience EVER I wish at times like this offices like this need to be shut down horrible there assistants wont even go to there own dental office that should say it all.

OK, I have had teeth removed 5 times previously so I think that my opinion counts for something. To start with the atmosphere there is kind of like a cattle car, or a dairy. The staff treat everyone with disdain, and they flat- out lied to my wife about the costs of there service, telling her 65 bucks and it ended up being 150. Also they make you pay before any service. meaning they have you in the chair, exam you x-ray you, then they make you get up and go pay then wait to be seen AGAIN!! The whole time in pain mind you.Its insulting. Now as for the back room experience. I arrive in the room to sit in the chair, but the prior patient is still in there going over denture costs with a dental assistant, for like 10 minutes, during my consult with the dentist the 2 of them were behind me maybe 2 feet chatting up a storm. I!! had to ask them to leave finally myself. The extraction itself was painful , took 20 minutes, it loosened the teeth next to it and no stitch, it was a large molar. I was literally patted on the back and rushed out with in 2 minutes of the most painful extraction I have ever had. Lastly, its 2 days later, my jaw is swollen. theres a flap of gum hanging a bit, and when I called asking for lortab instead of motrin( the dentist offered after the extraction but i declined as the usual pain is manageable with motrin every other tooth I have had pulled) They ran me around from 11am on the phone saying they would ask the dentist, I called back at 530 and they were all gone sorry, after I called three times from 11am until 530 asking for the prescription for the pain, put me off then went home never even asking the dentist thank you very much!. I am horrified at what these people call service and would recommend that given the choice between abby dental and a pair of pliers in the hands of my wife , I choose my wife. RUN away from this place and dont look back!

I do not think Abbey Dental needs my annual income for their files. I am very disappointed with todays visit. I have been a patient for years and under the care of Dr. Crow have come to expect excellent care. I explained on the phone I already had discussed a dental plan with Dr. Crow and he has already completed my upper implants and that I was ready to finish. The lady on the phone, said she could get me in today at 12:30. Dont tell me to arrive at 12:30 then tell me after I arrive I will have to wait 50 minutes to see a different Dr. Good grief. After spending 14,000.00 last year, I guess theyre too big now. Time to shop else where. ****update**** Within 24 hours of my post seen above, I received a call from Norma, a representative of Abbey Dental. She was pleasant, sincere, and made me feel surprised. She politely explained why she was calling asking me what happened. With mild trepidation I began. She looked into this and called me back within 15 minutes! Her professionalism, her matter of fact demeanor convinced me this problem was resolved leading me to believe people running Abbey Dental truly care. She set up an appointment for me later that day guaranteeing this was resolved and I would in fact be taken care of by my Dr., Dr. Crow. I can now report that I was in fact taken great care of. My heartfelt thanks to Norma, Dr. Crow and the staff of Abbey Dental. I still had to wait an hour to See Dr. Crow...ugh May I suggest one small thing? If the dentist is falling an hour behind schedule, would it be possible to let the patients know? My time is valuable as well and I for one would be extremely appreciative if it was recognized. For the totality of circumstances, I have changed my overall grade to four of five stars. Thank you.

For the first time in many years I decided that I wanted to do something nice for myself and take care of my teeth. So after watching Abbey dental commercials on television I thought to give it a try. But that turned out to be a wrong decision. After calling the office and talking to gentelman named Nick. I thought to my self that I had made the right move. I explained to him that i needed an estimate of how much it would cost to do my dental work. He made me an appointment and I let him know that I had to be seen at the time that we agreed on because I had to go to work right after my appointment with no time to spare and he promised me that there was no problem. So the appointment was set for 11 O,clock and I showed up 15 minuets early to do the paper work. I waited nearly 45 minuets and my name was not called, so I asked the reception that if it was Ok for me to leave for a few minuets to get my phone from my car and call my boss to let him know that I may be a little late going to work and she said that was fine. I came back after 4 minuets and I found out that my name was called and I lost my turn. That made no sense to me since I was told that there was no problem for me doing so. So to make the long story short after about another 30 minutes passed, I was finally approached by a rude nurse and she made it look like that everything was my fault. And I told her that I did not need to be helped by a so called sub-dental establishment that treats their patients so poorly and does not honor its appointments. It is now obvious to me that the quality of the dentists at Abbey dental is no better than its appoinmentsetters and its reception and I feel very fortunate not to have gone through any kinds of dental treatments with these folks.
