My experience here has always been wonderful. I have been coming for the past 3 years and I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great pediatrician. First off, the office is very clean and well kept. Second, I have never been seen late here! Thats a first for any doctors office that I go to. For comparison, Ive always waited 1-2 hours to be seen at my OB/Gyns office, despite having a scheduled appointment. Its so refreshing to go to a doctors office that actually respects my time and runs on schedule. Third, everyone here has been so wonderful. Dr. Kiepert is a amazing doctor and is very kind and gentle with my two daughters. She is extremely knowledgeable and I feel confident that she will be able to take care of my children for many years to come. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and guide me through all the joys/stresses of raising a baby and toddler. Its great to have a doctor that I feel really cares about her patients. While its hard to watch the girls get their shots, Brenda, the medical assistant, is swift and skilled at getting the job done with as little stress as possible to both me and the babies. Everyone at the office seems happy to be there, which really translates to a great experience for the patients. No one even stressed out while my older daughter had a meltdown in their checkout area because she wanted another toy from their cool toy vending machine. Thank goodness for how calm and collected everyone was. I suppose they are used to being around children, but I really appreciated how they helped to calm my daughter down and they didnt make me feel like a terrible mom for having to deal with the terrible twos right in front of them. I am so grateful that I found Tendercare Pediatrics and Dr. Kiepert and her team!

One of my all-time worst experiences with a medical provider! I took my 3-year-old there for a well child exam. The staff was very rude! The pediatrician DID NOT do a full exam. I am qualified to say this since I am a medical provider who does well child visits. Ive done well child visits as a family nurse practitioner for 4 years. The pediatrician did not check the genitalia as is recommended by the American Pediatric Association. I noticed she didnt really check what a medical provider is supposed to look for because she is supposed to open the labia in order to check. She did not do this!! I specifically mentioned to her that shes developing normally down there AFTER she did not check! In addition to this, at the well child visit, they charged me for an unnecessary screening test that I DID NOT ASK FOR and THEY DID NOT ASK ME IF I WANTED and MY INSURANCE DID NOT COVER. When I received a bill, I called to dispute the bill. They agreed to remove the bill but then sent me a letter stating they would no longer provide medical care for my child. What a rip off. As a medical provider, I always make sure to let the patient know their insurance will not cover tests that are recommended, then I ASK them if they still want it. They did not give me this courtesy. There were actually other issues beyond just what I am describing here but it would take too long to go into. Thankfully, I was not going to go back anyway. They are going to bill you for whatever they can regardless of what your insurance covers. Think twice before scheduling with this place.

I have taken my daughters there twice, once for a UTI and once for vaccinations. The staff was friendly and the doctor was very professional. I have been to a few other pediatric practices in town and liked this one the best. Other practices lost records and did not have my insurance information handled prior to getting there. Another practice I went to did not have a changing station and said I had to take the poopy diaper with me. How can that be at a pediatric practice? Tendercare did not have any of those issues. It is uncommon to find a doctor in vegas with Dr, Kieperts training. I think the anti-vaccination person below needs to see a shrink and rethink their stance on vaccinations. I do think there are too many vaccinations today vs when I was a kid, but polio and the other big ones are necessary.

Weve been taking both our daughters here ever since they were newborns and we have been extremely pleased with the service, care, and attentiveness of Dr. Kiepert and her staff. The facility is very clean and modern and the staff is very adept at keeping children calm & comfortable for exams and vaccinations. Highly recommend Tendercare Pediatrics!
