I LOVE Dr Nishihara. I already have 2 kids and not so thrilled with our current pediatrician, so I asked my OB (whom I just LOVE LOVE LOVE) for a recommendation when I was expecting my 3rd child. She told me that she takes both her daughters to Dr Nishihara. Since I trust my OB, I decided to give Dr Nishihara a try. And I am so happy with my decision. Dr Nishihara is very sweet, funny, friendly, caring, and compassionate. He visited my baby girl every day (sometimes twice a day) at the hospital and we were there for 4 days. My daughter had jaundice and he carefully monitored her bilirubin level and her feeding and dirty diapers. He wiped down my hospital room with Lysol to make sure that the environment was clean and safe for my baby. What doctor does that? There is never a wait at his office. He cares and respects his patients time enough to not want to pack appointments like most doctors. I am a germa phobe, so not having to expose my newborn in a busy wait room is awesome. Once we are in, Dr. Nishihara really takes his time with my baby. I can tell that he truly loves kids and that he really cares about my baby. How can you not love going to a doctor and be seen right away? I have to admit that he is very strict (no visitors, wash hands, keep her at home for the first 2 mts, use the humidifier, use Dreft detergent, etc), but only for the benefits of my baby. Id do anything to keep my baby safe and healthy, so it doesnt bother me that someone with a medical degree tells me whats best for her. I have no problem with his office staff either. They all are very nice and polite. I had to page Dr. Nishihara at night once, and he called me within 5 minutes. I also had to bring my baby in for a sick care, and the office was able to fit her in for the same day appointment. And then he called to check up on her over the weekend. No pediatrician ever called to check up on my kids before. I wish I had found Dr Nishihara sooner. I am picky but I highly recommend Dr Nishihara. He is the best pediatrician ever!!!

We love Dr. Nishihara. He is definitely one of the best pediatricians in Las Vegas. He is super nice and always reserves plenty of time to talk to us and do a thorough exam. I dont think weve ever waited in the waiting room for longer than a minute or two. He usually can squeeze us in the same day if we need a sick visit. One night we called his office late because of a sick child. His answering service pages him and he called us back within a few minutes. One important thing is that Dr. Nishihara is very particular about instructions and taking good care of your child so be warned that he is going to expect a lot of you as a parent to keep your child healthy and safe.

Dr. Nishihara has been our pediatrician for 4 years. He has a special and caring manner with my 2 girls, and there is never a wait IF you come on time or a little early to your appts. Sometimes his staff (whom are very young), can be rude, but the doc is always great. My only complaint about him would be, he is super conventional about vaccinations, and I only do some vaccs for my kids, so he is not very happy about that, but normally deals with it ok. I have gone thru 4 other peds here in Vegas before I found him, and he is the best by far!

Dr. Nishihara is hands down the best Pediatrician I have gone to. With Dr. Nishihara, you feel like part of the family. He follows up even on weekends after sick visits. Wait time is zero, they are always ready for me which means they respect my time as much as I respect theirs. Dr. Nishihara takes the time to educate the parents and constantly reminds us about things we may have forgot over time. I highly recommend Dr. Nishihara!

Honestly I think its dumb how this office isnt taking new customers with culinary. I spoke to one of the staff and that is what she said today at 8:04 am 02/27/2017 the only reason Im putting this comment is because Im disappointed in the fact that they dont accept new customers with culinary? Only the ones who have been their customers for a while. Totally wrong!

We love Dr Nishihara!!! He really takes the time to talk to you and your child. We have been taking our three kids to him for about three years and have never had to wait passed our scheduled appointment time. He is super nice and always follows up with a phone call after a sick visit. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

Quick but thorough checkups. Dr. Nishihara is wonderful as well as his staff. Im pretty neurotic when it comes to my infant (my first) and him being her pediatrician definitely puts my mind at ease! Not to mention his practice is spotless unlike where I was recommended to go when my little one was born.
