Excellent doctors and staff; very courteous, friendly, and pleasant. I have always had problems with getting the correct prescription for my eyes, so I decided to try a private practice instead of a commercial chain.  I have been to Target Optical, LensCrafters, and Walmart over the past few years and no doctor has left me with being able to see right. They just kept changing my prescription and I was getting very frustrated and not trusting doctors. I decided to try IlluminEyes and my problem was finally discovered. Dr. Daldine discovered I had cataracts and I had something else going on and I needed to work on that before I could be referred to an eye surgeon for the cataracts. He also told me that since I have a very high prescription, the surgery would make a significant difference in the changing of my prescription. I finally had the surgery and WOW what a difference. My eyes are healthy and I can see!! I have discovered a valuable lesson through this experience. I need to think about the value of service I will get from a small business owner, than a corporate chain that is only interested in the bottom line. A small business owner provided me a personalized service and genuine care. This brought back memories of when I was young. I remember my parents taking me to a local Optometrist and there was never a question on our service. As a middle aged adult, I have learned how valuable this kind of service is. I am very happy, I have found my eye doctor, a small family business, and will continue my eye exams here.

Long time customer. The office staff are always great, and Steadman himself is a fantastic Dr who asks great questions. The only exception is the retinal exam they push on you that isnt covered by insurance but insist you should do anyway. Also - found my most recent experience less than satisfactory from the second I had to deal with the woman who fits you for your glasses. Despite my patience over the course of the last 2+ months I do not feel she best represents the business outlook on customer satisfaction. It was difficult to get her to hear I couldnt wear the glasses I originally selected, and once she did behaved as if she were doing me a huge favor by insisting I upgrade the lenses (which cost me more!) For the money they charge that I paid *in cash* not insurance! I expected something closer to decent service/attitude. EDITED: Unfortunately, the replacements I have been waiting for I "returned." The glasses tech I spoke with proved unhelpful in resolving problems that just kept popping up. (They lost my replacement frames!What?!) I wound up eventually calling THEM too find out the situation, and requested a full refund which I almost did not get without a struggle. I will not be returning here for glasses in the future if this is the level of customer service I can expect.

Dr. Steadman has been my optometrist for more than 10 years. Although I cannot say it better than others who have already commented here, it is worth repeating: Dr. Steadman is the consummate professional. He is very knowledgeable and skilled, and remains abreast of new developments in the field. He is passionate not only about his chosen profession but also about the health and well-being of his patients. Office visits, including routine eye/vision examinations, are thorough, never rushed. He has always listened to my concerns and questions and then thoughtfully answered them completely, respectfully, and in terms that I could easily and clearly understand. Friendly, helpful, and professional also very accurately describe the staff -- they are a great team. A few years ago, I moved more than 23 miles away, to another city with several optometrists to chose from, however, I continue as Dr. Steadmans patient -- its worth the drive. Dr. Steadman and his staff have my highest recommendation.

Dr. Steadman has performed my eye exams for many years, ever since his office was adjacent to Lenscrafters in Nashua. Im completely confident in his skills, knowledge, and professional attention to medical details. The "optometrist" side of the business is less impressive. I was quite disappointed in my last eyeglass purchase, which I felt was overly expensive and required numerous visits to complete. To their credit, I felt that Dr. Steadman and his staff listened carefully to my observations and acknowledged areas that needed improvement - that added one star to my evaluation. If the business side can ever reach Dr. Steadmans medical level it will be a five-star operation.

Eye exam was okay, i think they skipped a few steps that I have at other doctors offices. I purchased new glasses and contacts. Both seemed to be off, needed to return 3 times to have the lenses adjusted for my eyes, very poor service on my return visits. Once they had my money, the service level went from okay to poor. After 6 months I went to Pearl Vision and they were very good and corrected the issues. Not sure I would send anyone there for glasses.

Dr. Steadman is an excellent optometrist who performs thorough check-ups to ensure that his patients are healthy. He combines professionalism with excellent skills, great care and concern about his patients as a very experienced doctor. His office is friendly, helpful and professional. If you are looking for a optometrist who is passionate about his work and patients, I highly recommend Dr. Steadman!

I went to pick up my eyeglasses from his office in Lenscrafters with my son (age 4 at the time). He felt the urge to tell my son (age 4) how much his equipment cost and that we wouldnt have enough money to replace it..when my son didnt touch his equipment. Hes lost me as a customer in addition to not having my wife, son my two other children. I have been very happy with Dr. Appler in Hudson, NH.

Dr. Daldine and Dr Samuel have both taken great care of my eyes. They provide thorough exams, and really listened to what I needed to see clearly. My glasses from Dr Daldine were super clear; I feel like Im seeing HD. Dr. Samuel suggested this new brand of contact lens that was the most comfortable brand Ive ever tried. Great staff and practice.

Best experience Ive had at an optometry office. Dr. Christopher Daldine was very professional and listened to all of my concerns. The examination was very thorough and I left feeling confident with my new prescription. The desk/gallery staff were very personable and helpful. I definitely found my new permanent optometrist! I first visited Dr. Steadman over 20 years ago and have continually found him to be very professional and highly competent. I always feel Im getting the best care possible and he does a great job explaining things to me in laymans terms.
