Very disappointed! Did the research and read plenty of positive reviews and decided to give them a try. Unfortunately I would never take my pet to this pet hospital again. I took my "rescue" doggie for a baseline check up and also to secure a good vet (because we are new to the area without a vet) in the event we needed any help. I was met with the vet displaying an negative attitude after communicating we had just rescued Gunner ( I was surprised since I believe any vet or caring person is supportive of any rescue situation). She did not listen to his heart, look in his ears or mouth......nothing! She then told me my dog had neurological problems and I should get an MRI ($1500). Humm??? We were very fortunate to find an excellent vet "Holistic Animal Healing Clinic" - Regina Downey. I cannot give more praise! She diagnosed my dog with a back and neck injury from being left to starve on a chain. After 4 treatments my furbabys recovery has been nothing short of a miracle. I can say without any doubt my dog would have received no help from the North Hampton Animal Hospital. I was charged for the office visit and the only contact from this office is to refill heartworm and flea medication that I can get on line for much cheaper. Pathetic! This vet didnt even make an attempt to be nice or compassionate to me or my dog. Clearly she couldnt have cared less. An interesting way of doing business if you want any patients to return. In short I would not waste my time or money. They dont care. Its all about the money. Regina clearly cares and my doggie cant wait to see her....A clear indication of a loving, compassionate practice. A huge contrast to this establishment. If I could give no stars thats what I would do. Georgia Hampton NH

Beside the capable and compassionate care these veterinarians have provided my 3 former, 3 current cats, and dog over the past 9 years, I have been impressed by the ability of the staff to schedule emergency visits. I have had to make unscheduled appointments twice in the last month and I know that seeing Dr. Kelleher so quickly prevented further deterioration of my companions condition, and ultimately achieved his full stabilization. NHAH also sends vaccination and annual check-up reminders and birthday cards to each animal. Most affecting to me and my family were the cards sent when our beloved companions died, signed by the entire medical and support staff. They provided real consolation and knowledge that our losses were shared by all who knew them. The parking is ample and well-designed, too. All of my pets actually enjoy going to see their vets! The cats are relaxed and purr during their examinations and my dog views a visit as a social occasion, and is thrilled to find out thats where we are. Strange, I know, but true. I cant imagine taking them any where else.

Being new to the seacoast area, and not knowing that many people, I tried out a couple of vets in the area. For two years now, we having been seeing Dr. Means at North Hampton. My cat has IBD, and needs more vet attention then the average pet. We also have a puppy that has been a patient since 8 weeks (now 1). I cant speak highly enough about the care that we receive from Dr. Means and the kind, caring ladies at the front desk. Having a puppy weve had to call a little more that we would like (swallowed plastic bags, chicken bones - you name it we called about it) but help and support weve received front desk is second to none!!! I came from a vet in MA where they would run every test $$$$ and have you come in for every issue you called in about, not at North Hampton. North Hampton is very honest and genuinely cares about you and your pet.

North Hampton Animal Hospital is excellent. Every time I go in there with my pup everyone is always so pleasant! My dog is a pretty anxious dog and every time we go in there, shes happy to go see everyone. I have so far seen three different vets there and each and everyone of them deal with her in such a great manner. They definitely understand her personality. Almost two weeks ago she had gotten spade; her incision is fantastic looking with no complications. A few days after her surgery we had to pick up some hot spot spray for her; she came with me for the car ride and she was ready to run back in there. She clearly feels at ease when shes there. I definitely couldnt find a better vets office than them! It also is very well priced. I give this vets office 5+ stars. It is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

We consider the North Hampton Animal Hospital to be exemplary. We have been with them for over 15 years and have found the team to be extremely friendly and fun, and the professional care is the best. I love the email reminders about appointments. We recommend North Hampton Animal Hospital to anyone who loves their pet and wants the very best care. A few weeks ago our cat was not well. I called the clinic and two hours later she was seen and received the antibiotic injection she needed. It was easy for all of us. Great care, warmth and empathy, that is what we experience at North Hampton Animal Hospital!

If there is an Animal Hospital in Pet Heaven, Drs Means, Kelleher and Maloney would be practicing there. For over 20 years we have entrusted them with our many pets with regular check ups, intermittent illnesses and the eventual painful but graceful and humane goodbyes to dear four-legged family members. There is an art, a skill, a passion and a deep sincerity that shows up every day at North Hampton Animal Hospital - in the doctors, the vet-techs and the staff. Thank you all for your kindness and your expertise both of which have been a comfort to us and our pets for over two decades.

If you are looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough vets, NHAH is for you!! I have taken my 8+ cats to Drs. Mahoney, Means & Kelleher for over 15 years. They have seen us from annual check-ups to kitty colds to Specialty Vet (for brain tumor) referrals to the ultimate act of compassion in helping us to say good-bye to our treasured loved ones. The pet-world is a much better place thanks to these Vets and their awesome, helpful, kind and professional Staff! I, and my entire family, thank them for the dedicated service they provide to us and to the community.

Hi Fellow Pet Lover, This is Q., a mini schnauzer writing since mom is busy. Just letting you know that I love NH Animal Hospital. They have taken good care of me since I was a 8 weeks old and I am about to be 14 and going strong! And they always have treats for me to eat when I come in so I am never scared. Wait -- mom wants to say something: The good folks at NH Animal Hospital are always helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. And all the doctors are good with Q and listen to my concerns respectfully. We love our furbabies and they do too!

We have been taking our puppies to NHAH for more than 20 years. The doctors, vet techs, and staff are all very knowledgeable, caring, and professional, and, with all the issues our puppies have had over the years, have become almost family to us. They were particularly compassionate and helpful when five of our little ones went to heaven. The facility is very nice, and we also get our dog food and medications there. Very highly recommended without reservation - we wish our own doctors were as good! Mitch & Joyce
