I took my newly adopted pit bull type dog there, who has issues with other dogs, last minute because of a health issue. We didnt yet have a regular vet and were frantic calling around to see what vets could accommodate his issues and who loved the breed. We were recommended to Acoaxet by another person with a pit bull type dog who had similar dog reactive issues. On the phone the receptionist was extremely kind and assuring that I could either call to check in beforehand or check in while leaving my dog in the car once I was there. We could then use a side door to avoid run-ins with other pets. When we got inside they were super cautious with checking around corners and being sure we were in an area where he wouldnt meet up with another dog. The vet came in and took about 5-10 minutes getting to know my dog before she did any examination. She was extremely kind and clearly caring and passionate. I chose to muzzle him just to be safe when they examined his ears, but the vet did most of the exam without the muzzle so that he was as comfortable as possible. Everyone Ive met in that office so far went above and beyond any expectation I had. Their prices were extremely reasonable, they gave me immediate quotes on any procedure and never recommended anything that wasnt completely necessary. Even though they are about 40 minutes from my home theyll be our regular vet!

Very dissapointed with this place, I called friday 7/9/16 to make an appoitment for my day off, 20 minutes later I get a text reminding me of my appt, with the wrong date, so I called and spoke to the receptionist she was nice and pardon herself and schedule me for 7/13/16. And told me to come in 15 minutes earlier. Well the day comes to bring my pup in and they dont have me scheduled in the system for my appt and the lady I spoke to kept talking to me as if I was lying about the appointment. She Did not apologized or made an attempt to rectify the situation she just kept referring it to as "strange" and was not sympathetic at all. Made me feel so upset that after all that they had no record of my appt. I Decided to go with Sylvan animal clinic in the city and they were very nice in getting me in.

When we were going through the ravages of old age with our cat Emmi and then our dalmatian Lizzie, we were given such compassionate care right until the end with both. After our loss of Lizzie the house was empty. But not for long. Acoaxet Vet Tech Ellen ONeill was fostering 3 kittens with bottle feeding and advice/support from Dr Grossi and staff. They were a fragile trio, born one month before we lost Lizzie. We adopted them and they thrive with all the great care from Dr Grossi and the entire staff. We have had such continuously great medical care. This team is highly valued by us. We always receive compassion, caring service and there is excellent communication with call backs and information. My experience with Acoaxet was 100% a positive one. From the very friendly reception staff that helped encourage my very nervous Doberman puppy into the exam room, to the exceptionally warm vet (Dr. Carreiro) & vet tech (Melissa), I felt very welcomed and comfortable. They made sure to offer Roman the same hospitality and it was clear that he felt okay being there. It was a clean, quiet, and relaxed environment. Their pricing is also fantastic, and maybe even on the inexpensive side. I love the text reminders for the appointments, too. I will be returning to Acoaxet with my other pets, and Roman will be a regular visitor.

Our Siamese cat, Jackson, was in need of dental x-rays and full mouth extractions. Our family vet referred us to Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic. We traveled 140 plus miles round trip on three occasions to have our kitty treated by Dr. Schor. After a thorough evaluation and x-rays Dr. Schor took time to answer all of our questions and concerns. Treatment was scheduled in a timely manner. Everyone we met at the clinic was helpful, professional, and friendly. Treatment, expectations, fees and after care were explained fully. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Schor and Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic!

Acoaxet has changed the way I think of how a experience at a veterinary should be for the pet and the owner. I had a handful of terrible experiences that were traumatizing to my and my dog at another vet in the town that I live in. I was referred to Acoaxet by a family friend and I cannot say enough positive things. The main difference for me was seeing how they treat every animal like they themselves are the owner and you can really tell by the way they interact with your pet. I will never go anywhere else now and I will refer anyone who asks to Acoaxet Veterinary!

I have been to a few Vet Clinics over the years and this is by far the best! The staff are very friendly, knowledgable and caring. The facility is clean, well kept and inviting. Their prices are reasonable too, especially considering they use all the newest state of the art procedures, tools, etc. And they dont charge you for things you dont need! They go over the bill with you item by item to describe everything and make sure you are comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

The vets at Acoaxet have been taking care of my dogs for over 20 years. Their level of care is outstanding and every member of the staff is skilled and professional. The facility is clean and well organized. There are several vets, having varying areas of expertise. I have had appointments with all of them, and have gotten the same thorough and professional care from each. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, in fact I have done so many times.

This was a first time visit to Acoaxet Veterinary clinic. I needed to have my german sheperd seen by a dental vet and that was Dr Schor. From my initial contact on the phone to my bringing my sheperd in for surgery and meeting the staff and the doctor, I felt very comfortable and knew my Gunney would be well taken care of. The staff and Dr were were kind and caring and made sure all my questions were answered.

The staff at Acoaxet Vet have provided wonderful care to our dogs for years!! They manage any issue, minor or serious, with competence and compassion. Even after we moved, and despite having several vets closer to us, we still make the 30 minute drive to Acoaxet. Our dogs deserve the absolute best, and thats exactly what they get at Acoaxet Vet!! Highly recommended!!

A visit to Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic is ALWAYS a pleasant one. The receptionist, vet techs, and vet are always friendly and competent. The office/facility is always fresh and clean. The best review, however, is from my puppy who never ever hesitates to walk in the door on his own! Hes never afraid to visit and he absolutely loves (kisses) every one there.

The Veterinarians and technicians at Acoaxet are wonderful!!! They love the pets they care for and I can speak from experience they are successful keeping them in the best of health! My dogs are extremely skittish rescues that had to be carried in for the first couple of visits and now they walk right in happy to see everyone!
