I have been promising myself to write a review of Discover Chiropractic and their fine professional staff for quite some time. I can truly say that Dr. Chris Kawa is hands down the best Chiropractor in the business bar none. I have never seen anyone who is mote dedicated to improving the lives of his patients and caring for their well being than Dr. Kawa. Dr. Kawa has provided seminars on improving health and diet. I had visited several other chiropractors prior to Dr. Kawa and had become skeptical about the profession. I did not feel improvement and often times felt more like a number than a patient. Then, I decided to give chiropractic one last chance and I started going to Dr. Chris Kawa. I had a problem with my hips and feeling back stiffness which was not being helped by attending other chiropractors. Dr. Kawa gave me a through examination. Dr. Kawa was able to locate the problem, tell me what the problem was, and the causes of the problem as well as exercises I could do to help speed recovery. After a couple of appointments, I felt much better and noticed an increase in mobility and decreased tightness. Dr. Kawa not only helped cure my ailment but as I continued to visit him to get adjusted I noticed that I was not getting sick as often and when I did get sick the duration of the illness was not nearly as long as when I had not visited Dr. Kawas office. I have continued to visit Dr. Kawa for 17 years now and can honestly say it was one the best decisions I have ever made and would proudly and highly recommend Dr. Kawa to everyone I speak to about chiropractic or how to get healthy. I am in my early 40s and have not had a major illness or had to visit a doctor for other than a physical in the time I have employed Dr. Kawa as my chiropractor. I said earlier that he is the best in the business and that is not an understatement. If you need chiropractic help or sick often visit Discover Chiropractic it will be the best life changing decision you can ever make.

Let me begin with he is only getting 5 stars because they wouldnt allow me to put more. My original purpose for going chiropractic was because of a bad back stemming from a car accident (untreated I might add...the worst thing to do). After doing some research and asking around, Dr. Kawa came highly recommended....and I assure you, the same vigorous recommendation will come from me as well. It starts on the walk in. A relaxed and happy staff, smiling and welcoming--they really make you feel comfortable--a key to me since I am not really a "doctor" kind of guy. Filled out some paperwork and then whisked to the back room for my "interview" with the doctor. No 45 minute wait, no leaving you hanging and not paying attention to you, pleasant conversation and into the back I go. Now in walks the doctor...a great guy who was very genuine with his line of questioning...you get a sense he cares tremendously from the first time he says hello. the interview complete and the examination begins. Thorough and again magnificent...there seems to be a pattern in this place. Everyone cares! It was amazing. Staff, Doctor...all worried about you the patient? When does that happen? Well I can tell you it does here. During my interview, Dr. Kawa noticed I had filled out that I sleep on average 2 hours a night. The evening of my 1st adjustment (I am writing this after my second, which was today 3 days later), I slept 6 hours...first time in over 4 months I slept more than 2 hours...and it should only get better from here. Bottom line is this, it appears to be working, and working good so far. back pain was significantly less after first visit, and I just went for my second. No pressure to return or any high pressure sales tactics at all, I bought a month ahead and will continue to return as this is the first step to a new me...and I couldnt be happier I chose Dr. Kawa. you should do the same, you be very happy you did.

I highly recommend Dr. Kawa! I have been to several chiropractors and no one has ever come close to his level of expertise. He has the ability to find and correct my problems without me even having to mention where my aches and pains are. I believe that Dr. Kawa is the primary reason that I was able to carry my twin pregnancy full term without any discomfort. During my first singleton pregnancy, I developed such hip and groin pain during the second trimester that it was painful and sometimes impossible to walk and climb stairs. This was prior to meeting Dr. Kawa and no other chiropractor wanted to treat me. After my daughter was born, I still had issues with the pain, though less severe. That is when I started coming to Discover Chiropractic and I have been coming routinely ever since. Dr. Kawa continued to see me through my twin pregnancy and accommodated me with ease regardless of how big I got. He was not at all intimidated to treat me while pregnant. I began to get a hint of the same hip and groin discomfort with the twins that I had had before, but with frequent adjustments, it never worsened. My friends and family were amazed that I never complained about aches and pains during the pregnancy and was able to continue working until my 8th month. (I should probably mention that I work as a dentist and routine adjustments have done wonders for my neck, shoulder and posture as well.) Nowadays, I look forward to my visits every few weeks and feel fully refreshed and invigorated after my adjustments. I have also been bringing my children ( ages 4 and 8 months) to Dr. Kawa. He has adjusted them as infants to correct the malalignment that they had from being crammed up in the womb. Dr. Kawa is truly amazing at what he does! His staff is friendly and the office is clean and welcoming.

the first day i met Doctor kawa and his staff i knew i was in a good place i was delirious with pain in my lower back. i had been going to another chiropractor for three weeks and had no relief at all. i couldnt sit stand or walk its the worst pain i have ever felt in my life. i was suffering so far for 8 weeks. i actually wondered in the office thinking i could get medication. brother was i mistaken Doctor kawa wouldnt have any part of that. i handed him my x rays and explained that i had been in a car wreak 2 years ago and broke three vertebrae in half . the surgeon had put 18 screws and two metal plates in my neck. Dr kawa didnt miss a beat. he explained to me how it will work and what he could do. the plan was to come for 3 days a week until the pain started to subside. guess what. it worked he had me walking and sitting and i was working along side my employes at the construction site in 4 weeks. this man is so intense with his work i dont be-leave i have ever met anyone so gifted with this kind of talent. he has the feel for your back as if he knows where the pain is. he adjusted me the first day and i knew he could get me out of pain.i felt relief right away and it just got better every time i went and couldnt wait to just be there i wanted to go every day. he has a great office wonderful staff and a massage therapist in the office. if you dont be leave in chiropractors then start why be in pain if you dont have to why take pills if you dont want to.there is a way out of pain and misery go see doctor Christopher kawa live the life your suppose to come over and join the drug free pain free life style. i am a be leaver and have no pain what have you got to lose except your pain.
