Please be careful taking ur pet here. This Doctor is not careful at all. I feel she was negligent and to be honest I feel all they want there is money. My family and pets and my little cat that died suffered a lot because of this vet. Its been almost a month since the negligence happened and I am still traumatized and sad over what happened. My cat was scheduled to get spayed. 2--3 weeks prior I had taken my cat to Dr H so my cat could get all her shots because she was 6 months old. I thought she received all her shots including RABIES- I thought this because with all my other animals the other vets had always giving rabies first specially in preparation to getting fixed. Please note that this was really the second time I had been here before and before was with my dog and was not too happy on how my dog was handled either. But I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. ( BiG MISTAKE) please follow ur instincts. Anyway right before the surgery- my cat started to show weird symptoms that didnt look like she was in heat but since she was 7 months I was confused. My cat was showing symptoms of RABIES- i knew that she wasnt in heat and just wanted her to be checked prior surgery to make sure. I took her to Dr H for her to give me her expertise diagnosis. She never checked my cats chart to make sure of her history NEVER- Instead of her keeping my cat to be observed because of the weird symptoms she decided to give her the surgery ( spay her) she had some doubts of something but again never checked my cats files not once when I was there. I thought she was covered with all shots and she probably did too but since she never checked the chart she didnt know. To make story short- Dr H gave her the surgery anyway, I took my cat home later that day and my cat was still showing the same symptoms but now they were stronger- The next day my cat attacked me and she ended up dying Later that dAy. We took her to the DR H right before she died ( we had her in a cage)because at this point we knew she had rabies- Even at the furious stage my cat was in she was saying it wasnt rabies!!!! Then she finally checked her chart and realized she had never given her the RABIes shot!!! So my whole family had to get vaccinated including me ofcourse! My cat ended up showing positive for rabies- The moral of the story is please dont take pets here!! Im sorry to say this but this lady charged me lots of money and because of her lack of experience and negligence my cat suffered and my whole family due to her lack of concern and true care for the animals- its all about the money to me and she is careless- I dont usually write reviews like this but I have been left really upset over this and what she did was not right. She gives me all the excuses in the world but we would never know how things could has turned out if my cat would of had the shot when I took her or if she would had just observed my cat when I told her of all the symptoms - but no - she waS greedy and charged me lots of money!!! Please be carefully and make sure they give all shots to ur animals! Because she will give u the story to come another visit for the second shots- RABIES is out there with bats, raccoons and other animals and cats who go out even to the back yard here and there can get it from a rabid Animal! Please beware of this place!! I will never bring my animals here again!

Ive been using Dr Hordynsky for many many years. Ive followed her, even though I drive an hour away for ALL of my animals care. I have a rescue organization as well as my own animals, and she is our first choice in vet care. Shes super eager to work with rescues (she has a heart of gold for homeless animals). I cant say enough positive about her- and Ive been to many vets. She takes the cake for sure.

Dr. H is great! She is a great doctor and will sit and explain what ever you need so you totally understand! Hours are a little hectic but she is still #1 in the area. Her staff is great as well. They know their stuff! Dr. H is that rare type of vet that will come down to the animals level instead of the animal having to stay on that cold table. Can not possible say any more good things about her!

I bring my rescue dogs to Dr H and she treats them with the same compassion and professionalism as if they were my own pets. Hours are very convenient & the office is clean. Dr H is always available to handle emergencies and the care she gives is top notch. I, for one, am glad she opened her practice in the area.

I love This vet. I have been bringing my Jack Russell Puppy there for the last couple months for check ups and vaccinations. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I can say that its a little pricey but it worth paying a little More. Recommend this to anyone who has a new Puppy at home. But really to any age dog.
