We recently adopted a cat from the local animal shelter. As part of the agreement, we took her to Greenfields as we were pretty happy with their treatment of our three other animals. My wife stated that the visit was short and the veterinarian did not take much time to look at her. Two weeks after her visit we discovered that she had a large spot which was consistent with ringworm. Our visit was today and it happened to be with the same veterinarian. She was not of much help to us and confirmed what our initial thoughts were. She tried to talk us into spending $127 to be sure it was ringworm. Then she stated that the treatment needed was not there and had to be ordered from a pharmacy a few minutes away. They refused to do much pricewise despite the fact that this same vet missed the initial diagnosis. The manager of Greenfields should not even have such a title. She was extremely rude and condescending towards my wife over the phone. On multiple occasions she talked to her in ways that implied she thought we were not educated. She also told her why did we think that the vet fee should not apply. It was a circular argument. Needless to say, we will be taking our 4 pets to a different vet from now on. We do not want a place that is tasked to ensure our animals health to only be concerned with the business aspect of it. It also goes without saying that as paying customers we want to be treated with respect and deal with a manager who is aware of what the definition of customer service is.

Really greyhound savvy! Ive vet hopped for years and am very particular about my babies care and do not hesitate to walk out and never look back if Im a little upset. Im someone who second guesses and researches everything I am told. Basically a vets nightmare client! Weve been seeing Dr Beyer for a couple years now and her bedside manner is excellent! She answers all of my crazy questions and never makes me feel stupid for asking her opinion on something. Her knowledge of greyhounds is amazing. Even my shy little girl, doesnt shake when shes being examined. We drive 40 minutes to this vet office passing over have a dozen other places. Ive taken countless foster dogs here and even one that needed surgery. This dog needed to have both of her eyes removed. Dr Beyer completed the surgery and all of the staff at Greenfields were excellent at keeping me, and the rescue group, advised every step of the way. I was very impressed at the lack of swelling and oozing at the site of the stitches. What I thought was going to be a horrible experience for us all, ended up being very positive and calm. Weve never had unnecessary vaccines pushed on us. Weve never been advised to have unnecessary dentals. Weve never had unnecessary test pushed on us. We are not berated for feeding a prey model diet. As crazy as it sounds, I actually look forward to going to the vet! I know my animals are going to have a positive experience and that I am not going to leave angry.

First time here I was nervous, I knew something was going on with my Labs dental health. I felt very comfortable, they were all so patient with explaining things. After a dental procedure, my dog is like brand new. I appreciated the time and detail that went into explaining all of it to me. The follow up call was much appreciated. I am so happy I found Greenfield after having a not so great experience elsewhere. I trust them 100%. I look forward to them taking care of my beautiful Andy for many more years. Thank you for making him feel and act like a happy young puppy again!!

This is the only vet office I use for my two cats. The staff at the front desk are very professional and friendly! I usually see Dr. Santore (who I request) and she is a very thorough doctor. I have also seen Dr. Beyer who saw me because Dr. Santore was not there but they had already spoke to one another about my animal so Dr. Breyer was well informed. This showed me that these doctors communicate with one another! They also do not "nickel and dime" you, Im always comfortable with what they recommend, and never feel like Ive wasted my money which is pretty important!

We have been a part of Greenfields since 1989. Over the years they have been the vet for three dogs and four cats. Theyve handled emergencies, e.g., dog at raw chicken to ingesting foreign bodies to euthanasia when the time was right and for wellness care. They are responsive, honest, caring, and open to discussions about charges on bills. We trust our pets care to them without reservation. If you ever have a problem ask to speak to Dr. Beyer, the owner. However, all the doctors are wonderful and you can tell they truly care about animals.

They are a hoax, took my dog there to get neutered and they almost killed him. Told me that I had to rush there to pick him up and get him to a cardiologist, because something is wrong with his heart and blood. Took him to anither vet 2 days later and There was nothing wrong with his heart or blood. They didnt want to take responsibility in saying that they gave him too much of a sedative and almost killed him. I will NEVER take him there again.

They are very caring and compassionate. Ive been going here for years and I can believe that my dogs l are getting the best care straight up. Dr. Lafferty is fantastic and if it wasnt for her I dont think my Liza Ann would being doing as well as she is. That and she uses ultrasound to get a urine sample. Do you ever try to get a sample from a female dog with short legs. Shes a Pembroke corgi that being said on the lighter side.

Ive been going here for years. Not all the doctors are the same, but when you get the right one they take care of you and your pet very well. I used to live around the corner, but since moved to DE and still drive here for vet care. I feel they miss things when it comes to cancer/ moles, but for fairly routine care, and some emergency surgeries, they are great and really try to work with you to only get what your animal needs.

Green Fields Animal hospital is great. Short waiting time, great doctors, and great nurses. They are their for a good period of Time during the day. My dog has gotten shots their and they actually give them right in front of you so that you can ok. Most likely if you think your pet is hurt , come here because they can help. Rate 10/10
