Ive been taking my Dog to this place for 3 years now. Before that My whole family has been going there since i can remember, i used to love them. Until about this year, my grandparents dog had a seizure which obviously is going to cost a lot to take care of which is understandable. 6-700 bucks. Maybe over doing it. But than 1 month ago same dog had an ear infection. that bill came out to be $425!!! For an ear infection. So than i take my dog there and he ends up getting kennel cough while hes for his yearly shots .So i took him back and they didnt charge me for the $50.00 office visit again but made me pay for the meds. Now to go back to my grandparents which have been going to them for over 25 years.Their 2 yr old beagle was sick they ran some tests they found out she has diabetes. For one night stay over there with injections, glucose tests and a few other tests it came out to be over 700 bucks 1 night stay! Now i know this is what you have to take that chance on when you have an animal but come on! This places prices have been sky rocketing in the past year. And my grandmother was in actual tears from dr Pottynski not showing any remorse on her dogs health. Never took the moment to stop what she was doing and come over to her and say everything is okay or ill let you know how shes doing. Nothing just let her stand in the waiting room in tears!!!!She told me she couldnt believe that this is the way she is treated when she has been going there for so long and trusting them with their dogs life and this is how they treat their clients. Ive dealt with her a lot also. Every time i came in for an appointment the receptionist always tell me shes running a little late coming in and i am seen 1/2 past my appointment time. We are not very pleased on how this place is going down hill.I am looking for another place to take my dog, if any one has any suggestions please let me know ASAP

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. This place is horrible. Went in once to get my cat nails clipped. First, the vet tech came out in a rush, grabbed my cats carrier and while rushing to get to the back with her banged her carrier against the door. Next thing I hear were blood curling screeches from a cat who I couldnt have ever imagined was mine! When my cat came out she was was so scared Ive never seen her this way. When I asked if that was her the tech said yep and quickly dismissed me as I swiped my card. When i got home I saw blood all over the crate, and my cat. Two of her toes were bleeding profusely and she was limping! I went back to that hell hole and guess what? The tech was sleeping at the from desk!! I demanded to speak to the owner which apparently is one of the vets there. What an old hag she was. She rolled her eyes and said theyve been doing this for twenty years blah blah blah but she too seemed like she couldnt care less. Never will I bring another animal here again. These people do not care about animals, just a bunch of nasty pricks.

I would NEVER take my dog here if it was the last vet on Earth! I stopped in to introduce myself because I was new to the area and both the guy at the front desk and the vet were EXTREMELY rude!! The guy at the front desk was in the back room yelling when I got there with my friend and when he came out he said "sorry, I was on the phone. I had a customer who was trying to tell me his dog needed surgery ASAP but I dont let customers tell me when their pet needs surgery, sorry, but here the customer isnt always right." When I asked to talk to the vet he brought her out and she hurried my friend and I out so fast saying, "you can leave your information at the counter." Upon saying that, the guy at the front desk said, "Sorry, lots to do back there, lots of dogs under anesthesia, cant talk!" and rushed to the back. SO rude. That establishment is a joke and should be shut down!

Extremely professional and caring. The vet was experienced and knew exactly what was wrong with my cat (urinary blockage). They treated him with excellent care, and happily provided me with updates each of the half-dozen times I called. They also worked to keep my costs down, and reviewed the charges carefully before I authorized treatment. I paid exactly their estimate. The doctor provided useful information on my cats condition and additional medicine before I took him home. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the office smelled a little and could use a new touch of paint (which is purely cosmetic, but is a huge turn-off when you walk in the door).

8/8/2014 BEWARE!!! One star because my dog was still alive when I picked her up. Very poor kennel experience. No record of when or how much my dog had been fed. Dropped a NEW full bag of dog food and ONLY upon pick-up was told that they never return uneaten food.... this was news to me. They were unclear whether kennel price was by dog weight (my dog was 8 lbs) or fixed price by the day. The excuse was that the receptionist/tech (???) had only been there for a month. $30/day for non-hospital an NO ADDITIONAL SERVICES is exorbitant- highway robbery.

I took my dog and cats to Springfield Animal hospital for over 15 years, sadly the service has gone downhill in recent years. My 15 year old dog was being treated for a skin infection that after 5 months, 2 different antibiotics, and a lot of money, did not clear up. A culture was never done or suggested. There is one tech there who is just a miserable person, he really needs some classes on customer service. Due to these reasons, and a couple of other negative visits, I have left this practice and wouldnt recommend it

I called this hospital as an emergency and even though they were pretty packed they found the time to see my dog which is very ill. Once i got there the receptionist was very friendly. Even though the wait period was a bit long i went in at my appointment 6:00 to come out at 8:20pm just for a fluid shot and xray. Overall even though it was bad news for my baby they were very concerned and wanted me to contact them with the results. This will be my place to go to for all my future needs....

Pretty sad that the office doesnt have accurate records because one of their employees were stealing and you get yelled at repeated by the veterinarian technician because of their poor documentation. I have never had worse customer service or been yelled at like that. Accusations that I wasnt giving my dog his daily medicine when in fact it was never documented that it was purchased on multiple occasions Total disgrace and worst customer service EVER.

Dr. Patinsky and the receptionist were both very courteous and helpful. I am so happy I listened to my husband and took the 20 minute drive! The Philadelphia Animal Hospital has cost me 600.00 in unnecessary tests, and told me my cat needed a 1200.00 surgery. Dr. Patinsky will do the same surgery for 530.00....and she showed me the xray and explained everything to me patiently and kindly. I will definitely bring all my animals here from now on.
