literally never a good experience with this woman. I called in a panic because I got an infection on my nose from traveling and my skin blistered and peeled off. I asked to be seen as soon as possible and the receptionist said i could come in at 5. I called back a few hours later because my conditioned worsened and they said they didnt even have my name down to come in! I finally showed up and they had me sit in the room and wait for the dr. She came in and started lecturing me about a tattoo i had recently gotten. I was already scared and upset about my face having a rapid infection and she didnt seem to care at all! She proceeded to examine my nose and toss out diagnosis to the medical assistant and prescriptions to treat me with. I had to stop her and ask her to slow down and answer some questions i had. She then said "take the pills and call me in the morning - follow up in 9 days bye". I never felt like i was treated like a human being, more like science experiment! The next day i called and asked to speak to the dr and i was put on hold twice before being told "ill pass your message along". I said no, i was told to call to speak to the dr now i want to speak to her. The dr finally gets on the phone and sounds aggravated and answers "whats up". I explained my skin was scabbing over and it was a yellowish/brown color and that i wanted to make sure that was ok. She cut me off saying, "yeah yeah sounds good - see you in 9 days to check up again bye". Honestly, I will never go back.

Although the office staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional, my experience with Dr. Trusky herself was awful. She was probably the rudest person I have ever come in contact with and I work with a very large diverse group of people. From the second she walked into the exam room she didnt make eye contact with me, when I said hello she ignored me, and proceeded to flip through my chart coldly asking me questions about my skin issue, and when i asked her about it, she said "I dont know what it is" then proceeded to do a procedure (which I later found out from another doctor) was a very harsh and unnecessary procedure to do. It left my skin in worse condition than when I had come to see her. No bedside manor at all. And, although I was a bit traumatized and upset with her aggressive method of "treatment" I was still trying to be friendly and polite, when I said to her "thank you, nice to meet you see you soon" she literally gave me a dirty look and walked away without a word......so rude....Ive never been treated like that in my life by a doctor....I come into contact with many people on a daily basis, many of which who ask about my skincare products and dermatologist....I will be sure to tell everyone to stay away from this bully of a doctor. No one needs to be treated like this....ever.

Dr. Trusky is a caring professional who takes the time to really service each patient. The wait in the office is slightly longer because of that, but waiting a short period of time to get a thorough, seasoned doctors full attention is well worth it. Her full body skin examination is methodical and thorough. Her staff is friendly. I had gone to her years ago, but my insurance no longer included her in my plan. Once I she was back on it, I immediately returned to her. She cares, and I dont necessarily think people understand that always. Shes not walking into the exam room as though she participated in a Tony Robbins seminar because shes not a doctor who is a hype salesperson; shes genuine and cerebral. She once mentioned to me that she goes onto Google scholar every morning to keep up with the news on research in her field. Thats the kind of doctor you want.

I would give this doctor 0 stars if I could. I made an apointment to see this doctor and waited 3 weeks to see her. When I showed up at the office, and after waiting for 30 minutes I was told by the secretary that the doctor will not see me because she is not taking any new patients with United Healthcare. I complained that this was very unprofessional on the part of the doctor since they are the ones who made the mistake and did not ask me what my insurance is before scheduling me in. I also complained that I waited three weeks to see the doctor and I should not have to wait another three weeks for another doctor. My complaints fell on deaf ears. I asked to speak to the doctor and the secretary refused. In fact the secretary seemed to derive some satisfaction from treating me with aparent contempt. This doctor and her staff are to be avoided.

If you are interested in finding a doctor that is kind, easy to talk to and compassionate... Keep looking. I brought my daughter to see Dr. Trusky because everyone else I had called was booked out for months and I didnt want to wait. I knew that was a bad sign but I decided to give her a shot just the same. As soon as the dr walked into the room she immediately began to lecture me for having a bow in my babies hair and never actually introduced herself. Once we finally began to discuss the issue we had come in for, Dr. Trusky had to google what she thought my daughters issue was and read about it on her iPad but then lectured me that she has been doing this for 30 years. She was extremely rude, condescending and had 0 bedside table manners. I will never be returning to her practice no matter how long I have to wait to see another dermatologist.

My appointment with this woman was a waste of time and money. She is unprofessional, rude and unknowledgeable. She yelled at her staff in front of waiting patients. She spent a total of two minutes with me and prescribed me a $200 shampoo without telling me the cost. When I went to fill the prescription and was told the price, I was shocked. The pharmacist called Dr. Trutsky for a more affordable alternative and she says "Head and Shoulders". The pharmacist couldnt believe it. Horrible. I had to write and mail a letter to my primary doctor requesting she no longer give Dr. Truskys name to patients asking for a dermotologist. Yes, that is how bad my experience was and how badly I want to prevent others from having a similar experience. If I can prevent just one person from seeing Dr. Trusky I am grateful.

Ive been going to Dr. Trusky for a few years now. Her personality was always on the cold side, but Ive heard that shes a good doctor so I kept going to her. I went today for my overall body check, and I had to bring my 1 year old daughter with me, being that I didnt have anyone to watch her. I was brought into the room, changed into that paper robe, and waited for Dr. Trusky. When she came in my daughter became a little frightened and cried for maybe a minute or two. Dr. Trusky then said word for word "I know youre oblivious to her, but I am not. I cant see you today." Then she walked out AND charged me for the office visit. I still cannot believe that happened. I will never go back!
