I have never left a review for anything, but after years of fearing the receptionist it was time to post. I hate calling the office and see the people in the front desk. Left a message never got a call back. so I called at 8:00am when they open. The receptionist told me. "We just opened up you need to hold on" . What ever happened to the days days when people asked. Can you please hold? it took 7 minutes for her to pick up. When she did she said" Yeah i see you called about something, what do you need something about shoulder" when I asked if I was due for my annual she said that is a different system and left me on hold again for 3 min. Her tone of voice was very negative. I was able to make a appointment for just 6 days out. Which to me is a positive. The PA Lori is always very nice and helpful. Once you get passed the front desk. the rest is positive.

Just went here today first time. I had a bad experience elsewhere on the island so I was skeptical about finding a good physician. Dr. explained what was going on with me, and why she was giving me a certain medication (I had a chest cold). She was really pleasant, helpful and Im definitely going back. She also talked to me about my prescriptions Ive been on from an old doctor, and she wanted to make sure that what I was taking was working/and I didnt have side effects. The office itself is very clean, and nicely decorated. The receptionist was pleasant as well as the physicians assistant.

Ive been a patient at this practice for more then 8 years and have watched things go down the drain. Starting with the nasty receptionist Fran, who needs some basic customer service training, to the lack of follow-up, when your forced to leave messages for everything on a recorded line. If I was writing this review 5-6 years ago, 4 star office and I would recommend but now dont even bother. Its too bad Dr. A. Persaud was one of the good ones, maybe she should just consider cutting back or training her staff.

I did go back and forth on if I should write this or not.. But considering I am sitting at work and dealing with the same thing I came to this office for. This PA didnt ask any questions, just decided out right that they would take my money and not treat me.

Fails in communicating and explaining the causes for some issues - too quick to prescribe medicine when in some cases, small changes in your lifestyle could be sufficient!
