I went to Dr. Digiorgio for glasses. I needed new contacts a few months later and because Dr. Digiorgio does not take my insurance I went to my local optometrist to update my contact lens prescription. My optometrist tested my vision with the new glasses and found that they did not correct my vision properly. It turns out my prescription had changed and in fact my far vision had improved so the glasses I was wearing over corrected. I went back to Dr. Digiorgio and told him my vision with the glasses was blurry. At first he told me it was because I had diabetes as it runs in my family (my mother had maturity onset diabetes). I told him that was ridiculous as I have no other symptoms of that illness.He then told me I was developing cataracts as he could see clouding in my corneas. I was checked last night by my ophthalmologist who said my eyes are perfectly clear. I will not go back to Dr. Digiorgio again.
