Moved to another vet because vet tech acted scared of my big dog when he was hyper and he got treated differently for it. When I needed info on a recessive gene my dog has to use against his breeder, they destroyed the info on it because they didnt wana be "implicated" Dr Parnell told me it was a recessive gene when my dog had surgery, then everyone there flat out denied that it was a recessive gene when they knew I was going to sue the breeder. Extremely unprofessional and cold hearted to destroy evidence that could shut down a puppy mill.

Have nothing but good things to say about both Dr Pernell and the rest of the staff. Our poor baby was not feeling well and needed surgery, he came thru with flying colors! On a side note....being foolish and leaving headlights on while at the office, my battery died and Dr Pernell showed his skills in jumping the battery off. Wow talk about service! The office also left a msg asking how Tyrion was doing the next day, very caring of them.

On vacation visiting family, our dog got a stick lodged in the top of her mouth. Dr. Pernell and his staff were absolutely wonderful - they quickly handled the situation with our puppy who tends to be very nervous, and they even trimmed her nails. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Hendersonville area looking for a great vet. Everyone in the office was courteous and helpful. Thanks again Dr. Pernell and staff!

Dr Pernell and staff are knowledgeable and thorough. He takes his time to explain treatment options in detail. My dog is timid and prefers women over men however Dr Pernell made him feel comfortable enough that he was taking treats right from his hand. Both Dr Pernell and his vet tech were considerate and kind. I highly recommend this office.

I went camping and my dog decided to get a hole in his side. The hospital was open on Saturday and they were able to patch my dog right up. The staff was very friendly and they had the surgery done in an hour. They also trimmed my dogs nails at no extra cost. If I lived in the area I would definitively go back.

Our cat, Sam, hurt his leg and needed medical attention. I called Dr. Pernells office and they told us to bring him in immediately. They took care of him quickly and were very thorough. Dr. Pernell and his staff did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

My father took our pets here when I was younger, so I continued bringing my own pets. They are all so very friendly and theyll do anything to help. The vet is awesome, and his assistants are off the charts amazing. This place is really worth checking out.

I was not impressed with Dr. Herrons treatment of me or my pet. The vet tech was much kinder, but the whole experience left me incredibly upset. I did not recommend this practice at length to my colleagues.
