These people are crooks. They flagged my last review! When asked about a titer test for my German Shepherd i was told they never had anyone ask about that sort of test which is a Lie. Its a very common test for your dog to see if it requires the DHLPP vaccine booster. If you do some research you will find that the DHLPP is a common worldwide practice among vets to make your pets sick so you keep coming back. They wanna put you in fear and push for the vaccines. Get a Titer test ! These vaccines are for when they are puppies !! Your adult dog cannot get Parvo. Its puppy disease. Thats it . The whole BOOSTER shot is another scam. Unless you plan on Bording your dog you will not need the bordetella vaccine. Dont over vaccinate your pets ! The nurse kept telling me that giving my pregnant female dog the DHLPP vaccine that it will also boost the puppies immunity. This is another LIE. The pups get most of the antibodies from the mothers milk. They tried but it aint gonna happen. bad bad place Plus on another note they wanted 1600$ for 6 of my german shepherd pups to get there vet health certificates and first set of shots. I went to tampa for the same thing and paid 350$ for all 10 pups. Yup thats right !! These people are crooks and in it for the money. oh and for your flea pills go to vetmedsforpets. Not these people. Same meds without the BS. They dont know who they are messing with so stop flagging my reviews cause its the TRUTH !! Im under a diffrent name . :P Update : I received a letter from the Riverview vet office stating that they will no longer be taking care of my animals because of my poor review i posted. And all im doing is stating the facts and expressing my opinion. Dont try giving my pregnant shepherd flea pills knowing it WILL cause birth defects. :(

Ive been very happy with my experiences at Riverview Veterinary Hospital. Ive been going there for a few years now and have found the staff to be friendly and the vet techs quite competent. The vets, Dr. Vargo and Dr. G take the time to explain my dogs issues and treatment options. They are understanding about my desire to comprehend everything I can about my dog. Also, in an effort to reduce the medications my dog needs, they have offered various treatment options such as herbal meds, acupuncture, and laser treatments. I have found them to be cheaper or comparable to the vets I have visited in the past.

All Vets and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and kind. My dog Hendrix actually enjoys his visits and the staff make him feel so special! He has had great care and after-care, we always get a call the following day to see how things are going and if Hendrix is doing well. I would highly recommend Riverview Veterinary Hospital to all who want the best possible care for their pet.

The vets and vet techs at Riverview Veterinary Hospital are very caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend them for your pets. I have had my dogs and cat treated here and have always been very pleased with the care they have provided to us. The late hours on Monday and Tuesday are a great help for those of us that have to take care of our pets after work!

Better than most. Dr Vargas is very bright and patient. The receptionists are friendly. There is some confusion upfront sometimes with them, but, you know. I wouldnt tell anyone not to go, and Id likely recommend it.

Love them! Staff is very kind and compassionate. Veterinarians know there stuff here! Prices also lower than all vets in the area. Highly recommend!
