I read reviews and liked what I read. After getting treatment from two other Doctors and not happy with the outcome...Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Andrus....got me in pretty quickly, Told them I was a self pay patient...was told they were gonna do biopsies..I told them That I had already had them done and just wanted to have two spots of Basil cell removed. He started procedure and told me he was going to go ahead and take care of them so I wouldnt have to worry about them anymore...finished up and was so happy...Three or four days later they called me and said Dr. Andrus wanted me to go to Dr. Baine to have the mohs procedure done on the two spots.....What kind of Doctor tells you this and then you find out you have to go spend another $3000 to have more work done???? Very disapointed with the outcome!!!

I went to Dr, Andrus becasue this was the only place that I could get into at the time. The reeceptionist and the nurse staff was great they got me in to see the Dr. Well after waiting to be worked in, he came in said hello did not touch me ask no history just looked at the bumb like he was scared to touch me and said it was some rash that the see all the time the cream they gave me did not work the visit was more then the cream and now I need to follow up and they want me to pay another co-pay for a follow-up this is not good with the insurance the way it is. Take a little more time out for you pataints we pay for you to coutuine living but we want to keep living also but not with skin problems that you assocaite with all skin problem very disapointed.

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Andrus. I have recently moved to the Raleigh area and came to see Dr. Andrus for a previously diagnosed condition. He made me feel foolish as I was verbally giving him the medical history from my previous physician. He had already come to his own conclusions and was going to change my treatment. Thankfully, the FAX of the test results from my previous doctor came through and Dr. Andrus saw that what I had told him was, in fact, correct. His demeanor was impatient and his assistant was making faces at my questions. Overall, a very unpleasant encounter and I would not recommend his practice. Needless to say, I will not use him again.

These people dont care about their patients. They should have callled me within a week of my results. I had to call them to find out that I have skin cancer. The nurse tried to explain to me that they have too many patients they take care of and cant call every one with their results whether they were positive or negative. They seem to enjoy taking the money of all their patients, but they dont enjoy informing them of their test results. If you cant inform the patients of the results, dont take so many patients in!!!! If you are looking for fast impersonal treatment, this is the place to go. If you want to be treated better, keep on searching for another doctor.

i just have to express how happy i am right now! i have had a skin irritation on my eyes for over a year now, my family doctor tried to "cure" it -- but it only got worse, i finally got the nerve to go to a dermatologist, and in TWO DAYS it is now about 90% gone, and looks AMAZING! -- i cant begin to express how much joy this gives me! Thank you DR ANDRUS!!!! [not only that, but i called multiple dermatologist offices that turned me away because they werent taking new patients for almost 3 months....his office fit me in because of my urgency and took special care in making sure everything was okay!]

I have been going to Dr. Andrus for about 20 yrs. He is awesome. Not only is he Professional but always has the time to talk to you about your family, etc. It is rare to find a Doctor that takes time to get to know you and actually remembers little things on your next visit. He knows Im a baby in Doctors Office but he humors me. Has never misdiagnosed me.....knows he stuff. I will also say his staff is excellent.. Professional, personable, always seems happy and eager to assist patients. Overall..............a 10 in my book

Ive been going there for years now and I have had great results. The only problem I have with this facility is that they do rush in and out. I go in there with questions and when the doctor comes in, asks me questions, and I forget what I was going to ask. But when I remember, they are usually long gone. Everyone there is very nice and helpful and the doctors try to find rebates for you and will give many samples. But I keep going back because, overall, they get the job done.

I had a great experience here from the scheduling, to the nice ladies in the front office, to Dr. Andrus himself. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and also answered all my questions. He is fast paced, but I did not feel rushed. I received a call on my biopsy in 2 days. Nothing but praise with my experience. I will definitely be back if needed.

Visited Dr Andrus for the first time and was pleased with the assistance and short wait before seeing him. He did a biopsy on my arm and I was in and out of there within minutes. Got a call from a nurse with the results by the follwing week. I was very pleased with Dr and staff.

If you are a busy person and like fast and professional service, this is the dermatologist for you. This office is a tightly run ship. Everything is handled with great efficiency and I always get the help I need. Ill never go anywhere else.

I have always been satisfied with Dr. Andrus. He is very efficient with his inspection and treatments , if needed. I am from out of town and sometimes get to his office early and he will most of the time take me before my appointment.

I like this place. They always get me in quickly without having to wait weeks for an appointment. You are usually in and out in no time - good for people with busy schedules for sure. No complaints, recommended.
