Dr Hickman and his staff are very professional, polite and friendly. Ive never took fear in seeing a dentist so I am always at ease naturally however the staff reinforces my confidence in dental care with every pleasant experience. This last visit I had, I was originally scheduled months prior but had to cancel and with a hectic schedule I wasnt too sure when Id be able to be seen again for my 2nd cleaning of the year. I called the office early that morning for an afternoon appointment seeing as I had time and there was availability. I arrived 10 minutes early and was called back right away. The office is clean, cozy and very inviting. I would absolutely recommend this dentistry to any and everyone looking for care. I look forward to taking my children to the office for their very first dental experience after my own experience with this office. I am confident the experience will be comforting for them. Great place with positive attitudes and with efficient dental care.

As an update, I would like to state that we have been going here for several years, and always had a great experience with Dr. Hickman and his staff, very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our experience with Dr. Hickman and Havens Familiy Dental has been great. Visits are quick, waiting time is minimal, the cleanliless of the facility is admirable. But most importantly, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful and Dr. Hickman is very good. After having a bad experince with another dentist, who did a poor job with a couple of my fillings, and could not rectify the problem, I decided to consult Dr. Hickman. It was immediately apparent that Dr. Hickman had a fairly good idea of where the problem was, and explained the options available, and was able to provide relief rightaway. The only issue is being able to schedule an appointment at a convenient time, but the inconvenience is definitely worth the positive experience at Havens Family Dental.

Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I went for my initial appointment and ended up having half of the cavity work I needed done completed on that day, which has never happened before and was great. I have Cigna insurance and the prices for fillings were better than other local dentists I have been to, they also offer an in house payment plan that makes everything so much easier. Dr. Hickman is very personable and kind and to the point. Easily one of my best and easiest dental appointments. At no point did I feel nervous or bad about my teeth or the procedure and I am looking forward to the rest of my dental work through Haven. I also worked with Heather, who was really sweet and helpful and did a great job getting X-rays (tiny mouth, bite wings are my least favorite) and doing the fillings. All in all, this was a great experience and I would recommend this office to and for everyone.

I was in need of finding a new dentist due to a problem I was having with a tooth. I am always skeptical of jumping into any dentist chair and letting them go at my teeth and hoping for a great outcome. I was recommended to Dr. Hickman by my cousin. First appt was to check to see what the problem was. He observed, took x-rays and realized a root canal was in order. He was able to get it over with while I was there during this appt and with no pain. I was so surprised...and I am a big baby when it comes to that sort of thing. He was not only very knowledgeable, but very friendly along with the whole staff. The whole office was very clean and even had a kids area to keep them occupied! I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I would recommend him to everyone....my mom and dad already made the switch and have an appt for their cleaning with him next week!! :)

No one likes going to the dentist office, but I dont mind going to Havens Family Dental. I have been going to Havens for the past few years and have not had a bad experience yet. Everyone is friendly from right when I walk in the door. The TVs on the ceiling are a nice distraction from getting my teeth cleaned. It also makes the visit seem to go by faster. The thing I like the most is getting a text message as a reminder that my appointment is coming up. I know other dentist offices will call you to remind you, but a simple text message for me is better than a phone call. Kyle always greets you with a smile and really seems to love what he does. I would recommend Haven Family Dental to anyone that is looking for a great dentist experience.

Update! Once again I walk away pleased. I had a crown fall off of my implant post. Dr. Hickman made sure I didnt leave until it was taken care of and comfortable. Extra points for having implant knowledge! Weve been going here for almost 2 years...thats at least 12 cleanings and always a friendly and pleasant experience. Getting us in for procedures immediately, when necessary and rearranging appointments to be most convenient for our family. Never enough time in the waiting room to play video games or enjoy the coffee...which is a good thing! No wait. The staff is very patient and fun for my kids, and remember us and laugh with us each time. Thanks for being a great family dentist. I recommend you anytime I can!

Megan and Claudia are nothing but wonderful. They have a way of making you feel comfortable while at the dentist, because we all know that the dentist is not your favorite place to go! The office is very clean and family oriented. However, Dr.Hickman is by far the best dentist Ive had, he does great work and hes fast too. His wife is my orthodontist and shes awesome as well. The staff overall at Havens Family Dental are very customer friendly, patient, and will answer any question that you have in regards to dental work! Ive yet to have a bad experience in the two years Ive been going! I highly recommend Havens Family Dental!

All of my life I have been fearful of the dentist. This is incredibly embarrassing as an adult. The doctor and staff at Havens Family Dental have made my experiences there so wonderful - Ive wondered if Im over my life long fear! Everyone is so friendly and will go above and beyond for patient comfort. They remember things about your life from visit to visit and engage in great conversation (as best as you can while getting a cleaning). I actually dont mind going to the dentist now! I would highly recommend Dr. Hickman and everyone at HFD to anyone - especially if you are typically fearful of dental procedures.
