My family and I have been CONSTANTLY disappointed with this doctors office. Some necessary info- my mom is a retired nurse (35 years) so she is aware of the expectations of the medical field. 1) My mom was scheduled to get surgery and needed medical clearance. The doctor saw her but only scheduled 1 of the 2 things she needed so we needed to make 2 hospital trips for her to be cleared. The clearance papers were then to be faxed over to the surgeons office. After SEVERAL phone calls over several days trying to get these people at the front desk to do their jobs, I finally had to personally go pick the papers up so we would have them on the day of surgery. When I arrive the woman behind the desk was wearing a pair of ripped up jeans. Casual Friday or not that is not acceptable wear for a doctors office. 2) I suffer from migraines. I went to this office to get a medication to help me with this problem. Instead the nurse practitioner I saw tried to sign me up for 3 different shots (unrelated to migraines) and told me I should come see a behavioral psychologist for stress headaches. Im a teacher, doctors appointments cant happen once a week or once every other week, I have a job. I went to another doctor a few weeks later with a different practice and was given some ACTUAL help that can fit with my lifestyle. 3) While on vacation my mom didnt pack enough of some of her medication so at 10:00 AM we called to get refills, none were left, so we called this office and left a message. At 10:30 I was able to speak to the secretary and give her the information. She said she couldnt guarantee it would be taken care of that day but she would send the doctor a message. After 5 hours no one had called and nothing had been faxed. I called only to be told that "the doctor is seeing patients all day and cant just stop what hes doing". This is an absolutely unacceptable response! Writing prescriptions is a part of a doctors responsibility. If none of the doctors in this building can fulfill all of the (very difficult) responsibilities a doctor has they shouldnt be one. Without these medications my mother could die. This was an absolute emergency and no one in that office treated it as such. At 4:54 we called to try one last time. We were told a doctor would take a look at it and give us a call back in 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes later and nothing. We will never give our hard earned money to this practice again or put our lives in their hands, obviously theyre not trustworthy enough to take care of their patients. This is pure negligence and incompetence at its finest. Stear clear of these guys!

The people who work the front desk are extremely rude and unprofessional. I am a college student & I guess you can tell that by the sound of my voice because the lady I talk to always treats me like a child & gives me an extreme attitude. They fail to tell me every time one of my doctors graduate so when I call to schedule my next med-check, they say I have to come in and sign paperwork for a new doctor - which is hard for me considering I live 2 hours away. One of the receptionists said to me "I am just an assistant, I dont know how to help you" about reassigning me a doctor that was not graduated. I go to school in Columbus so when I schedule med check-ups, I plan it around my availability to get to Cincinnati. Two of my appointments have been cancelled without any notification. They claim they called my cell phone both times and I showed them that I did not have a missed call or a voice mail from them. I then waited for 2 hours to see a doctor. Receptionists need additional training and should have better attitudes.

Love Dr. Alford, Dr. Webb and Dr. Okragley! They are very involved in my treatments, they willing to find answers on my conditions. But i do have to say front end sraff is horrible. Very rude and non concerned about my concerns. Call the office to get an appointment and takes 4 ever for them to answer the phone, and when they do rhey are rude and can never get me in, that I have to at times go to Urgent care. And furthermore rarely do I get a call back unless I play the part of being rude and demanding someone return my call. If I didnt like these 3 doctors so much I wouldnt be going there i would be looking to relocate to a different practice for sure. The front end needs MAJOR improvement nd should be more pleasant to clients.

I had my first visit to Bethesda Family Practice with Dr Lopez and could not be more pleased with the friendliness of the staff, efficiency and timeliness of the office, and caring and personal nature of Dr Lopez. Dr Lopez is thorough, understanding, and knowledgeable -- which gives me peace of mind. Im so happy to have found a practice and a Dr with whom I may place my trust, and am looking forward to my next visit. Truly a top notch facility!

Ill call the nurse with a concern and wont ever hear back. Its almost impossible to get an immediate or even close appointment. Some employees are rude. And half the time my phone call wont even be answered! Very unprofessional.

Doctors are great. But to actually get an appointment is like pulling teeth. Each time I try to make a sick visit appointment for my son, theres no spots reserved for sick visits and end up at the ER.
